I wouldn't mind a D40 right about now, since the AF-S 35mm f/1.8 is coming out. Thats the reason i got rid of my D40 in the first place.

what u didnt like the sigma 30 1.4 or they dont make it for that cam? i like the one i have .. very ... hardly use it because of the 17-55 though

I am on the same boat as Santi. I would never get a low end Nikon DSLR for some reason. I really hate the D40 for some reason and I think the XTi, XT, or XSiare the best for beginners.

^ the internet connection on a Navy Ship is hella slow. it took me 20 minutes to load that picture earlier.

you people pay for photomatix? when i tried making an HDR it had the photomatix logo all over the pic.. i have ps elements but i dont think i can do hdr'son there... i also looked into creating an action to put my name on my pics... i don't think i can do that either with elements.. did you people actuallybuy cs3? price is crazy

^ The D40 was just discontinued in Canada, so sit tight for a new Entry level Nikon DSLR. According to rumors, it's going to have a newly designed built inflash, that will tilt up 45 and 90 degrees to be able to bounce off the ceiling.
