Highly doubt it.

We are close enough to the salary floor, that we basically need to at least keep the contracts we have now...... or add to it.

Trading away Tyreke+Salmons(who is also our highest paid player) would equate to just over $13mil total, so we'd need to be bringing back a player making more than that.

Not even really sure what Tyreke's value is. We'd probably end up having to take back bad contracts...... which for a young team with rookie contracts expiring soon, we'll need the cap room/money

I was just thinking about this earlier...... I think the team needs overall retooling. 

The composition of the team is all sort of whack.

Tons of one dimensional ball-dominating players basically 

No real post players that can defend the paint

No true knock-em-dead shooter. Thornton is too streaky, Jimmer ain't all that yet

No playmakers, Young Zeke is on his way though.

Just an awkward roster put together all around.

I don't think we should be focusing on specific roster needs, but more so just figuring out the identity of this team.

I guess this starts with the new front office and coaching staff.


Side note: judging from Tyreke's Instagram, he is still in Sac usually players head home a week or two after the season ends

yea reke still around. i seen him and the pizza guy both last week by the Raleys in Natomas.. But Thomas is a cool cat. Saw him couple months ago when i was at the park chilling and up comes Thomas riding his bicycle. Thought he was just a regular dude at the time. But he shot the ball around for about 10 minutes, sign stuff, and took pics for the people there. had him sign several thing for my aunt and cousin since they are big Kings fan. After about 20 minutes he had to bounce to practice riding his bike...All this time he lives 3 stops away from my house and I didn't know it. Was wondering who was driving that Bentley down my street all this time

I was decked out in Kings gear from head to toe and was stopped like every 5 minutes at school with people asking me about the Kings

It hurts to again drop lower, but I really want a good pick in next years draft. So what do we hope for now? Hope Oladipo or Porter drops? I doubt it unless things shift. Hope Shabazz impresses tremendously in workouts? Trade down and take on some old guys contract?
