I may be in a majority here but both them shoes in my opinion aren't better than the kumquats, this year's wimbledons are a nice shoe but not over $130 nice.

Not a bad price. They were at ROSS for $39 so shipped I would say could deal. Now the shoe itself is painful to wear.
They are also at some of the Nike Outlets for $69 I believe. Prob could get on sale on certain weekends.
Agreed. Esp when you can grab the KQ for $90.

Agreed. To me and I'm sure nearly everyone else except resellers, all of these shoes aren't worth more than their retail. Hype, "QS", "SP", and the term limited are highly combustible propulsion for the resell prices, unfortunately. Those same descriptions are fueling the want for people to overpay. I'm all about retail (or less) or it's a pass.

Agree. There is no prize for having the most limited sneakers. Except a smaller bank account when you pay resell.

Pictures don't do the leather justice on the W1. The leather alone is 10x better than the leather on any general release shoe.

Looks like Finish Line KQ are coming from other places. One pair is coming from Louisiana tomorrow and other from Virginia Fri. Can't wait.

Wimbeldons arrived from sivasdescalzo and they have the same distinct smell as the French Opens, totally different from the other ATCs or any other shoes. They somehow smell like sweet almonds or am I crazy?
When I received the Huarache Turbo Greens a couple of weeks ago and smelled the shoes I was suddenly back in 1993 when I got my first Huaraches and it was incredible to realize how well memories are connected with smells...........of shoes

I was just going to say the same thing, the material quality on all the grand slams especially the first Wimbledon's (I've never held the us opens) is immense for nike. In terms of actual colourway if probably say the lavas are top for me.

Can some one explain the love to quats for me? i just don't get it. I've loved the lavas from day one, doubled up on the QS, doubled up on the clay when they first dropped too. I even gotted the ATC hybrid chillings cause i wanted a red shoe and i'm very happy with the. I love all of the different color blocking on the GS but i really don't get the quats, or the poisons for that matter...

people have different tastes - i liked the colorway (didn't buy them though)
those red hybrids are ugly, but thats just my opinion

KQ are
. Love the Orange lava fire. The Retro looking pearl leather. The mint trim sole and the Black outlines. Shoe is just a fresh take and colorway of a classic silo.
