Ordered 2 pairs of lavas from FNL on Sunday and they arrived today. That was the quickest I've ever received anything from FNL let alone get it with free shipping. Now waiting on a pair of cubes from FTA that should arrive on Friday. My wife is going to kill me with all the recent packages coming to the house.

your shoes can completely come out of the box when they're in those bags  

 I assume you say this cuz its happen to you? But my point wasnt will the box open or be damaged simply stating I dont care about packaging details like some. Ive received bags from various euro sites and had zero issues with shoes coming out the box but could it happen sure... 

Next some one will say I only got 9 cubes on my left shoe and 15 on my right shoe.. I want a comp or discount

I called FNL about that before and while I was waiting for an answer, I found out that if I don't sign in on my account, I can stack a promo code and a WC. Must be they don't want you to earn towards your WC points for it

You can always call & have the order added to your accnt though

Yes every time i have received them in a bag the shoes have been fine and the box is usually messed up - destoryed ... BUT the point is

In those bags the only protecting your shoes is the shoe box, which is going to get beat in the shipping process. Once the shoes come out of the box, anything can happen. Ive had some bags be partially ripped from something in the shipping process. Or say it bangs up against stuff, the drives doesnt give a ---- and just tosses the bag or something. A scuff can easily come from the concrete. Some type of liquid could seem thru hole in the bag and ruin the shoe, vs going thru 2 boxes to mess up the shoes.

All kinds of things could happen in either scenario but its so much better being double boxed. They have no logical reasoning for not double boxing because they do it all the time without having to pay for "gift box". Like I said earlier my QS Lavas came double boxed from them, as well as my Jerry Rice Frees. The bag is just lazy and unacceptable

They started double boxing them, best thing to do is to contact FA and tell them.. Posting in this forum isnt going to solve the problem at hand... I got a pair of revis trainers last yr from champs, they came in the bag of death box shot to hell but the kix were fine

What happened to the Eastbay Reps?

Also, shipping the shoes in bags is just wrong. One of my shoe boxes even got damaged being double boxed. I can only image if they were in a bag. These FedEx workers or UPS or whoever handles them, sometimes throws them around like bales of hay.

Just to chime in on BagGate 2014, I can't stand when places bag shoes. To me, it shouts "our company is cheap and doesn't care about the presentation of the products we distribute to our 'valued' customers." I do what koncrete mentioned in emailing suggestions of double boxing. They should know (and probably do know) that the shipping companies aren't gentle unless it has "fragile" or "handle with care" attached to the box. TeamSaveOurBoxes.

I feel you... Not saying I wouldnt be pissed if my shoes were damaged and I understand the potential of what if scenarios

The funny thing is Ive ordered from FA a lot but havent received the infamous bag of death and I had a box damaged that was instapak and doubled boxed go figure

I feel you quise, we all need to vent because 98% of society wouldnt understand. They would look at us like we are crazy, just because its a pair shoes.

Thats just an excuse to get ppl to buy nonsense, like the gaudy matching shirt and socks... Eastbay use to hit us with that crap all the time on Jordan releases, "Buy a pair of socks or a shirt to get double boxing"

I think the EB reps got tired of ppl blaming them, for every little thing that wasnt right with their order... So instead of the BS and nonsense they cleared it, cant blame them at all.. I miss those ladies and gents

Has anyone seen the Cubes in their local FTAs? When I call my locals they act like they don't know what I'm talking about, haven't had a reason to go to the malls that have a FTA

Speaking of discounts. I havent seen many private sellers on the bay with cubes. Mostly stores or people with FSR of them. I was hoping to get them around kumquat or lava prices lol

I guess that card is more valuable than I thought
