I originally had the stars just on the small panels where gradients usually is located...kinda like the cubes, but with stars. 

I was inspired by team USA Davis Cup windbreakers. 

Maybe Nike designers can come up with something to incorporate the aesthetics or even come up with a "Davis Cup" inspired shoe altogether.

Just lookin at that collection photo 2 posts up ... i notice that the GRs toe box is pointed up slightly vs the Grand Slams being xloser to the ground

Will do. Don't really go into the sports section that much as I have other forums for that. But ill come into the tennis thread. Sidenote, Rafa out 3 weeks or so with a wrist injury smh. Not looking good for the USO

very disappointed about this...not only is he gonna drop points but it would be a huge loss if he didn't play another major due to injury... probs need to start hanging out in that tennis thread as well ha

Yeah, the timing couldn't be worse.  At least it's his right-wrist... but it was totally unexpected.  

He has a ton of points to defend from Montreal, Cincy & the USO too!

IMO its cheaper to get GR ATCs from shops across the country, because of the free shipping and no tax.....

Speaking of no tax, its tax free weekend in the great state of florida... Im thinking about picking up the Turbos for 80$ with a FNL coupon
 
Sneaker politics are taking forever on my lavas. Order on the 7/21 and they want be here until the 4th :rolleyes and paid $12 for shipping :D.
It probably would of took longer if I didn't remind them to drop off my package at ups after emailing them about my tracking not updating after a week.
