KD VIIs drop in like 5 weeks and no pics of those either. Looks like Nike is getting its act together. I guess they wanted to bring back true QSs/HSs. They also caught a few guys who get samples out to the public and they are getting sued as well. We will likely see less samples make it to the public too.

Yah. All the hype on the entire internet for the grand slams seemed to be in this thread. AUS Opens didnt sell out until sneakernews posted pics they found in this thread. The Wimbledons sold out online but in Niketown UK they were sitting. Only the US Opens flew off shelves but NTNY had a few random sizes the next day.

I didn't even realize because i check this thread so much (and so little else) it feels like these kicks are hyped up...
 
The hype is real for the French Opens tho. This is the first release where people are well aware of the grand slams and their release schedule. I was in London at the time of the Wimbledons. The people in Niketown London didnt even know they were getting those in. My AUS plug said the NTSydney said the same thing about the AUS Opens. 21 Mercer was advertised as the place to go for the US Opens, which would explain why it didnt sell out on day 1 in NTNY.

Now it isnt a matter of them not knowing. Its them not knowing when.

I have managed to grab more information about the French Opens via Twitter =)

To be honest, I wasn't expecting an answer but I'm glad I got such an helpful one :-D

PS: maybe asking too much, but I've asked them when will we get official pics ^^

Y'all should take it with a grain of salt since they usually don't know ****, especially with real quickstrike releases..Not one Grand Slam dropped on NDC so why it would be any different for those?! Pretty sure they're talking about another ATC.

I was going to say the exact same thing. June 6th is the RD for Kumquat as far as I know. The reps are clueless with these kinds of shoes.
 
Correct, the tweet I posted was for the Kumquat's that are releasing in June .. I posted it a few pages back. We'll wait and see what happens.
 
Be interesting to see how/if French open drops- will it be region specific- like Wimbledon and us open?
Or will it be like aus opens- initial local release in melbourne - then drip fed global release?

Hoping for the latter- as je non habite en France! (I also can't speak French!!)

Or- will it just be a euro release of 'clays'??

Whatever the case- be prepared to pay through the nose if missed at retail
