Wasn't trying to start anything but honestly I just don't have the time these days to camp on NT or euro sites to try and cop at retail. Back when I didn't have a job and could sit at my computer all day, sure, but not anymore. I've relegated myself to less cops and only copping the ones I really need at resell, so I'm not exactly saying that i'm balling trying to cop at resell but I just cut out all the BS purchases that I used to make and just buy the stuff i absolutely need. I like how NT emails you now when someone quotes you. haha goodluck to u guys trying to cop at retail, if anyone finds an 8/8.5 and wants to let it go, hit me up.

You most likely will be able to find a small size like that on the secondary market for a very decent price in time.  Aussie's in lower sizes were selling for 220-240ish on leBay back when I was searching for my own size a lot.  It's also easy to talk them down a little as well from a higher price point.

There was a size 8 OZ trying to get for $250 via paypal trying to talk him down from $300 on the Bay. He said he'd meet me at $275 but now with 33min left in the BIN is at $370 wtf happened lol no way he will sell. Oh well on to the RGs.

I haven't bought any of the slams primarily for this reason, though the downside is -- I don't have any slams....

As for laces, I prefer the white; the shoe is beautiful and I think the red almost overpowers it, kind of like Andre's backhand return of serve (sorry, couldn't help myself)

I'm older and I watched and did the same. Agassi was that rock n roll star that brought a new life to the stuffy game. I really hope I can lock down a pair for retail.

People will easily pay $300 for them. It's inevitable. Supply and demand.

I was 14 in 1990 (when Agassi was runner up in the French and US Opens) and playing a lot of tennis, and Agassi was a God. My friends and I had all the shirts, shorts, shoes, and bandanas. Remember it like it was yesterday.
 
^woulda actually been nice if they had gone in either direction but that blocking just doesn't work.
