Those are really good points ShoeWizard. A lot of people have left the thread or stopped contributing. And there undeniably was a much different vibe a few weeks back.

During that time it was often said by many that this was "the best thread on NT". There was a reason for that. Very frustrating. 

One of the main differences aside from people trying to cop (which is understandable because the kicks are very nice) was there was no fighting or arguing. 

Past few days it has been only "where to cop" and more recently bickering. Lets put it to bed seriously before more people walk out with their ideas and info.

Whether these statements are 100% true about some newcomers is in the air, but this is the thoughts on the minds of regulars of this agassi thread.

In my own opinion, it is hard to ignore these thoughts.  For one, simply reading the thread will give you a lot of info and most of it is truly posted in here.  But people, especially newcomers, are extremely lazy and 9/10 times they won't go back and read anything.  If they do it would be 1-2 pages back then give up.  They do not want to put in the work.  They want to waltz into a thread and ask for info from people that had zero interaction with them until that very moment.  There was a very awesome vibe going on in this thread.  The newcomer drama and constant questions and pleas for assistance have driven good people out of the thread.  Just a bunch of random people with new accounts asking where they can get the newest hyped up shoe that sneakernews put on blast.  

I don't care if you are the biggest agassi fan in the world I would still feel the exact way towards newcomers that act LIKE THAT.  Now on the other hand, if you're new and simply contribute and do your OWN research, quickly you will garner respect and suddenly you will communicate through PM's with friends you may make or just someone trying to help YOU out because you posted some solid info or did someone a solid.

So don't take my words here as saying newcomers are hated or anything like that.  That is not what I am saying at all.  Personally a few of the newcomers seem very cool like you seem to be Deesen.  But a decent portion of new people to this thread have made the thread unbearable for enough people.

Also I don't know about all this "thinking they are the real deal" stuff you mentioned.  People just expect you to read the thread, research things, help out...and when you do you will never struggle for info/help again.  Quite frankly, this isn't much to ask.

I get that... But not everybody is like that. I got my FO'S and im still here... i just found this thread today... i personaly am happy that i am able to commumicate with People WHO Share my passion.

There was never any elitism or noob hating, but it's nosedived immensely this past week. Nothing wrong with noobs, but if you come in, have something good to say. It's not QVC.

That was asked a lot to nike and they always say June. The prevailing theory on this thread is they are talking about the Kumquats which are set for an early June release, and not the FO's.

To test this theory I messaged them on twitter with just the product code (ie i didnt say "air tech challenge") and they told me there was no info at the time - but everytime someone tweets them with the code and the name they say June... they've been very tight lipped about the grand slam releases so it is unlikely they are talking about the FOs.

What product code did you use ? And who knows with Nike they mix stuff up sometimes.
I'm not a big fan of the kumquats I think the next ATC pick up for me will be the royal pixel joints they are smooooookin
 
I used the product code of the FO's and i tweeted both nike store US and nike store europe -  I used the same product code as these two examples, only without "air tech challenge II" : 621358-116

Yea I guess who have to play the waiting game I read also yesterday on twitter , there's suppose to be a Red/Black/Wht pair of ATC end of June, that was tweeted by @soleU he didn't elaborate on it

Because the Fo's cw is not red it's laser crimson.... these are listed as red and black

struck out on all the online releases to date

but still holding out hope for a broader release

if the australian open was any indication: tournament lasted jan 13-26 earlier this year, after which 21M got them jan 31 and other online stores got them early feb. so here's hoping
