By time you have figured out how to place an order and all the fees you will incur.. That ebay price really wasn't so bad after all

I really only like the lavas and only want a French Open for my big footed boyfriend. Unless Nike drops a ton of FO tomorrow that hit ebay, he's gonna take an L.
He actually plays tennis though. Can anyone comment on how these compare with the newer tennis shoes?...small difference, no difference? I don't play, so I have no idea what good tennis player "gear" is. He doesn't count. lol

I've played in my '08's and they are nowhere near the performance-tennis shoes Nike offers now... in terms of performance, comfort and durability. In my opinion, he should stick with performance Nike Tennis shoes for the courts and wear these casually.
At the end of the day, these are retros from NSW, not Nike Tennis.

I dont play tennis but I would NOT recommend him playing in these.
I actually like the USO though. FOs are nice but I was gunning for them for trade bait hoping I could trade for USO or Wimbs (1st pair)

ok. Thanks for all the input. Perhaps I'm was bigger Agassi fan than he was when Agassi was hot in the tennis world, so he might not even appreciate wearing them casually either! lol
Maybe I'll just find him something better than a retro tennis shoe to play in. It just thought it would be cool for him to play in some tennis kicks that his tennis "crew" will want and can't get! At least a convo starter for him. And, maybe he'd look a lil more like he knew what he was doing!
