Who can ever say 100% why hype builds but as others have said its due to the OG blocking and because of that and the shade of green being very in keeping with the original ethos of the shoe and line itlooks like it could haven been an OG.

Yes. While I like how the ATC2s look, it's the comfort that keeps me buying more and more. I already wore my Clays twice this week and almost wore them again today. My Lavas will be worn before summer ends for sure. I plan to unDS my Kumquats during the Fall and I'll decide what to do with my Bamboos once I figure out what to wear with them. :lol: Light blue jeans seem like a good choice based on a pic from earlier in the thread.

Only buying pair I'll wear, but if I know I'll beat one then try to double up asap and keep a brand new one for years. Also the more you own, less they deterioraye due to rotation. maybe my son sizes 11/12 before I even unbox some of them :smile: also guess at this point I have enough for a lifetime.
Only pairs i doubled up on monthes ago still unworn are 2014 Tomato Lavas I finaly got no love for when I opened the box.they're waiting for a paint.

Bamboos are fire with stone washed jeans and awesome with "cream" pants matching the swoosh.

Obviously, it's all very subjective...  Actually, I feel the same way about the Kumquats.  To each his own, I guess! 

For me, it's the OG blocking.  The shade of the green adds a nice pop to it. 
 
i don't think there's that much hype for pg's because the link that bl posted earlier would've been cleaned out imo 
 
Only 9-10.5 available now. I'll admit, I bought a size 12 Poison Green. Also picked up a W2 for $399. Going to be a good next week!

That's how I feel about the Frenchies and the 2014 wimbs, they are like bi polar shoes why to much going on at one time
