Haha, did kids do that 20yrs ago?  Not in our school anyway.  

Obviously each city had their own thing, but I never understood why kids did that.  To each his own, of course. 

This happened on the UK back in the late 80s as well. I did it once when I was like 15 with my Air Trainer TW2 until some girl I like laughed at me for having the tag still on. Not done it since.

lavas, turbos, kumquats yes

clays were never "re-released" so those aren't as readily available as the others. But I'm a size 14, so that may skew my perception a little bit.



I'm not seeing any overseas spots with my size in the PGs, so I'm hoping they drop a boatload of them in the States eventually, like the turbos and kumquats.
