The shirts here wore back then from Nike were made out of Coolmax from Du Pont. I can guarantee you that material won't be used if they retro either.
yeah, there's no way they use the same material if they retro'd it. It was one of the reasons why the shirt was great.

Dude, I thought you were inferring that you didn't know these had the same midsole.
As I said on Kream, the whole point was to poke fun at the newfound hype. I love these shoes for what they are, and couldn't care less that they were used for the Yeezy 2. I'm sad that I won't be able to find these on sale again.

^They made it very clear which soles those were when the Yeezys dropped. Also I wasnt even in that thread. Popped up on my feed since Kream is a public group.

I wish ******g Kanye didn't use that sole. He could have just used a Flight '89 one like every other pair of Nikes from the past eight years.

some of it is just timing...
the 1st yeezy had the air revolution midsole, but since the yeezy 1 dropped a few years ago in 2009,
no one seemed to harp on the midsoles when the retro air revolutions dropped last year (just a brief footnote)
i feel if the red yeezys weren't still "up in the air" & the yeezy 2 was done with a year or two ago,
with the short memories people have - they wouldn't be comparing these ATCs to the yeezy 2
if that makes any sense to anyone

Funnily enough. I had a kid who was wearing fake Yeezy II tell me that my Air Rev's were some kind of fake Yeezy. I didn't even bother trying to explain, let alone include Jordan III.

to me, neither 08 or 14 retro look to have the exact same color as the og
but yes, these look slightly darker than the 08

i haven't followed this shoe or have any interest, but i saw a few posts about people trying to get them at retail (or maybe i didn't see it, dunno). but anyways, here's a mom and pop shop that will be selling them for what i think is retail ($120?). i'll leave this here in case it's useful to anyone or not:

I'm surprised more people haven't complained about the shiny lava. Definitely not like the 08's.
