I see you moved the lace decoration lower on the Wimbledon 2s and USO2s. I think it looks better. Going to try to gather the courage to make that happen.

Yea it looks a lot better. I put them where the laces first cross. Cleaner look IMO. I did it when I did the original lace swap.

Neither did the wimbledon 1s or the USOpen 1s. They also dont say "air" on the insole like subsequent models did. And they have 3m like the uso1 and wimb1 but unlike subsequent models.

The Wimbledon 1s came shipped in a bag from Pro-Direct Select resulting in a mutilated brown box.

Well that depends on what you mean by best? I don't own them, but the uso 1s and wimbledon 1s seem to have the best quality leather from what I've seen. I personally like the materials on the hot lavas (and presumably the rest of the grs) best.

With the contrasting colors, the white looks really good! Sorry I doubted you, I might be picking up a pair of USO just to swap the laces to the wimbs. That might look real nice. I like em  @OneSickRetro! Thanks for the pics bro!

lol Lavas best quality or materials? Sorry but far from it. The SP materials are hands down better than any of the GR releases i've seen. And the lavas out of all the GRs? Mine are the worst quality and materials. But I guess from what the JB has put out in the past 3 yrs they might be considered "good materials" lol, Seem like typical Nike brand BS. I'm glad that there $140 instead of the $170 for the "JB" quality lol.

I love the feel of the leather on the AOs

... but I don't have any other SPs to compare them to (yet)

I have W1s, W2s and FO. W1s in my book are the best because the all white really let's that fine leather stand out. I believe FO uses the same materials but the print area seems to disguise that quality. Where it's all white around the collar and swoosh though it's a match to the W1 leather. W2 doesn't use the same leather at all. I would assume the AO leather is the same as the FO and W1.
