Nice comparison pics...can anyone say if these fit the same as the 08's? I know alot of nike retros run big now. ima true 11 but had to get an 11.5 in the 08's cuz 11s were tight

Nice Tarts....i cant believe i skipped on the tarts at Nike Portland outlet. Luckily got 2 pairs of lavas and 2 pairs of Hybrid from '08 not just awaiting for my '14 Lavas to arrive next week...All you need now is that "HEAD" Racket...

i'm curious...for those of you putting up side-by-side comparison shots of 08 to 14...it makes me wonder...do you ever plan to actually wear either of these shoes? i mean, you have a pair from 08, which is 6 years ago. or do you just like collecting them and forever keeping them minty?

don't get me wrong, it's your money, and you're obviously free to spend it however you see fit, but i personally just don't get some folks who buy shoes/sneakers but never actually intend to wear them. you know the materials will eventually fall apart right? wouldn't you be distraught if say the sole of your shoe separated over time, but you never got to wear them?

or do you guys do the double up, 1 to rock, and 1 to keep "on ice" method (which to me means you'll eventually rock that minty "on ice" pair after your initial pair gets beat down too much and gets retired)?

again, this is just for my own curiosity's sake. just trying to understand the minds of some of my fellow sneakerheads...
