Someone messed up a perfectly good pair of Aussie Opens for this hot garbage

Nope they say the base is a clays pair.

I don't think they're Aussie Opens... the Aus toe-guard has much rougher texture than the GR's.  The Pigeons are smooth.  

The tongue is from a Clay...

I took another pic to explain the seller the problem compared to my 2008 lavas.Then realised the problem isn't horizontal but vertical
Toebox is way higher on left shoe, resulting this offset.

Your right their Clays, the orange texture looks like faux Aussie texture but still a poor custom execution IMO
