was watching a tennis program about the mcenroe tennis camp...
they said that tennis is the #2 or #3 sport for kids to pick up in european countries
as opposed to like #6 or something in the united states....
so they argue that is why america doesn't have the dominant presence in tennis it did 20-30 years ago
i guess i didn't realize tennis remained so popular in europe

The better part of me tells me to just not go because of the expected hood goonery that will most likely occur.
The thirst in me is telling me to gamble and call in half a day at work in the event the FOs get dropped.

Not surprising, considering how 9 of top-10 on the ATP are Europeans.
Having top Americans definitely make a big difference... but ultimately, the top 4 teams sports will be hard to move.
