This news about the lavas is interesting but hopefully I will be able to get a pair. Didn't get them in 08 and was never able to because of financial reasons so hopefully I can get a pair

Well looks like I won't be getting them AT THE MOMENT eventually I can come across a pair with a reasonable price!!!
 
Is there really that much of a demand in the US for the lava's, that someone who knows what they're doing wouldn't get a pair on RD?

So I wasn't crazy when some people on the thread gave me nonsense for saying I thought they would release in the U.S. this month.

Been doing some background hunting for info on the lava's in Australia and i gotta agree with jshortt about it being super limited..

Over here, spoke to one footlocker store and they received them in today, but can't sell till Saturday.. Even let me hold them.. Quality aint the same as the Aus Opens but still nice. Store only received 20 pairs in total!!! We talked bout which other stores were going to get them and its only like 3 - 4 stores.. At 20 pairs each thats 80 where i'm from.. 

The rep said I was the first to ask bout them, so hoping come saturday i can just rock up and cop but won't take my chances and will arrive early

Aren't all QS releases way more limited in Australia in comparison to the US?
 
This blows , I'm 41 and the lavas are one of my favorites all time and now they throw a qs tag on these so resellers will scoop em up . I don't have the time to be chasing down qs releases ,,,, u suck nike

Well true, we have a smaller population therefore less makes it way over here.

But going by how limited they will be in Aus, then just because USA is larger doesn't mean there's greater chances of getting the shoe. More shoes for more people but come release day, we'll be reading posts about people who missed , but then also those who copped

QS is a QS, no matter the country
