Hey thanks for this insight,  for serious.  Cause I was looking for reasons to dislike this shoe.  I think it's a great idea actually but something about it just doesn't work.  The sole already looks like a different shade of orange or whatever.

I reckon it'll look not so good.  With the same color sole it's like the sole is being disturbed in some way that causes it to melt/shatter.  Even if this wasn't the intention on whoever designed it, that's what it looks like to me.  A different color sole might just look really awkward.  Like I mentioned earlier in this post it already looks like it's a different shade but maybe it won't be quite as prominent on the shoe in person. 

Anyways I think it's cool that Nike put some effort into a new ATC design instead of just throwing some mess like the hybrids together.

When did Hot Lava become orange? I've noticed since the first retro, each time something with "Hot Lava" has become less and less hot pink, and more orange. Drives me nuts.

Its a shame imo that they can make these new hot lava atc 3 but cant add the white splatter on the ankle collar of the purple orange og colorway. And too me the "hot lava" coloring on this atc 3 looks to be like a orange color
