Aha. I think I prefer the older sole unit. It seems lazy on Nike's part to now use the ATC II unit, just because they've retro'd those over the last 12 months. They should have done that the first time round instead of creating an entirely new one. Nike can't help getting things wrong it seems.

The EKIN on the red Hybrid's is an awesome touch. They've got what looks like a modified Challenge Court logo on the tongue too. I didn't think they were using it anymore, although it'd be good for III's and IV's

I bet they changed it to capitalize on the whole yeezy hype.  Another shoe with the 'yeezy' midsole lol. The EKIN is really cool tho..didn't notice it upon first glance.

I was just looking at a pair of 2011 Air Trainer Max '94 yesterday too. I'll wait for these to hit the sale racks. NOBODY in the UK will buy them.

P, BOTH are terrible. The best cw that came out this year on the ATC were the OZ.
IMO, there were horrible back then and they're horrible now...

You know, at first I thought it was a flipped picture (so its facing the same direction as the outsole pic), but then I saw the flaming-ball on the tongue, so I guess it was intentional.  I dunno... a bit odd to me.

Awesome thread! I'm glad there's other people out there who appreciate the line as much as I do.  I can't wait to get my hands on the clay blue/orange burst pair so I can compare them to the last retro.  Here's a pic of my Tech Challenge headband collection.  I would absolutely love if they would retro them, but sadly I don't think they would go over too well with the masses.

^ Fantastic.  I don't play with a headband, but wish I bought all of them back in the day for collecting purposes.

wow, where did you get those?

The 90s haha.  I got a good chunk of them from a place called Sneaker Stadium when they were going out of business back in the day. I know I'm missing a bunch of colorways but they are absolutely impossible to find and usually go for a decent amount on ebay when they do pop up on rare occasion.  I would love to complete the collection but I'm not even sure Nike has a complete inventory of these.  They also made matching wrist bands which are even harder to find, that I kick myself to this day for not picking up.

I hear ya, I wish I could go back in time and clear out the place that sold them.  I actually do wear these on occasion when I play in a pickup game or in a rec league and they always get comments/compliments/criticism.  Only a few people ever recognize them as something Agassi wore.

Actually, I didn't know about the wristbands until a few years ago.  I never saw them back in the day.  At first, I thought they were a Euro-release, but I guess they dropped in the US as well?

I noticed a few missing, but man, you're so close!

The Swoosh is backwards as before. I think EKIN matching is a very cool touch. Not that I'll be buying any Hybrids of course. II sole or not. You lot would only laugh at me anyway.

Awesome headband collection. I know I had one of those back in the day but I can't for the life of me remember which one.
