It just bothers me that so many hype them up, and don't even know its a RETRO shoe, people think its some new shoe that's trying to be a Yeezy knock off. I know its old and all, but it's just so annoying because people who loved Agassi and loved tennis back in the 80/90s are gonna be grouped with the loser hypebeasts.

I buy this shoe because it's not a Jordan and not a Kobe, and it's from my favorite tennis player from back in the day. That's what makes it so awesome to me, is that it's a dope shoe, but it's different, now it's getting blown up by Yeezy **** riders.

Not trying to sound like a hipster by saying I like these cause they're not hyped, but that's what having a style in shoe gear is. You try and have something a little different.

I agree, though. The hype should be that one of the greatest tennis players in US men's tennis history graced the court with these. That's where the hype should begin and end.

social media is a great tool... Y2 is the ATC II so a comparison/reference is valid IMO.... and it creates buzz for sites cant knock their hustle 

Your reason for buying a shoe is no more important then the next persons... who may buy it for hype,resell,etc 

Everyone who likes sneakers is a hypebeast bro 

I dont think you sound like a hipster at all... more like someone who is stuck in a era thats gone

 
copped my 2 pairs yesterday, no problem to go along with my 2 lavas. and ftr, the manager at foot action confirmed these were a QS.
