you guys are just as bad as the hypebeasts. Almost as bad as dudes saying how these were at outlets for $30.

I'm pretty sure I saw a dude that ordered from them post his shoes earlier today. I also ordered from them and the shipment is currently in transit, took a while for USPS to update the status. I wouldn't start worrying yet.

Got my pair in from Sole Boutique. Color on the swoosh is so dull on the new ones :/ Shiny paint on the splatter is annoying. I like the shape and look of the toe box better. But overall the '08's pop WAY more and are definitely better looking IMO

i got rid of my 08s for these 14s...no worries for anyone now, your choice

wonder if a good customizer could rip them apart (08 & 14) and then combine the best elements - like replacing the lava splatter on the 14 with the actual 08 materials, and so forth?

I agree. Maybe they'll get it right on the re-re-retro.

Had to go to reseller though...the big footers just get the shaft on some of these releases.

The color is definitely way off on the 14's and the lava shouldn't be shiny. The material on tongue is too different as well. They should have taken the 08 pair and slightly adjusted the toe box or just released that same shoe. Probably too late for Nike to adjust that for the green pair.

The swoosh color is my main gripe. I could live with the shiny splatter since the color is still on point. Seems like it shouldn't be that hard to customize the swoosh. If anyone knows the best way to do that, I'd love to know.
 
My pair is finally in hand. Couple of flaws on the midsole, but I'm going to wear these while playing tennis and I'm going to destroy them. My toes going to be all scraped up based on my serve.

I know it's probably not the best shoe to play in, but no damns given. Gonna bring back memories.

Now I need tarts.
 
Got mine from nike dallas this morning i was number 2 in line the only had 20 pair but only 5 big sizes made the drive early this morning cause they sold out in less than 10 mins
 
Doesn't look like the Bay Area have a lot of hype, don't see a single listing on Craigslist. Maybe because it's Friday?
