Taking a road trip up there from NYC with 2 friends. I'll be there Friday night and Saturday. Where should I go, what should I do? So far I know I want to check out Old Montreal, a museum (of course) and the Notre Dame basilica.
I also want to watch the UEFA Champions league finals on Saturday. Are there any good sports bars around?

Really depends what you want to do (nightlife? visit?)

How old are you?

Eat :
Schwartz (best smoked meat)
La banquise (best poutine in the city) (24h spot but it's always packed )
Le gros Jambon
A lot of spots in the old port are great to eat

Nightlife/Lap dance :
St-catherine Street is where all the clubs/bar at. (at the angle of St-laurent or Crescent)
Angle St-laurent is where the young people are (18-25)
Angle Crescent would be for a older scene (from what I've been told)

Touristic spot :
Mont Royal
Olympic Stadium
Old port
Casino de Montreal

As for the game, you should check if one of these are showing it :

Station des sports (on st catherine)
Peel Pub (on Peel)

or just go to another sports pub on st catherine

Sneaker spot :

Off the hook (OTH) (on st-catherine)
Exclucity (on Notre-Dame)
Champs/Footlocker on St-catherine

Will def check out la banquise. I'm 27, I want to see some touristic spots in the day and hit a bar or two at night but nothing wild.

Get those fries with the gravy on it.

 That just sounded funny.

never been but heard the strip clubs are pretty nice...cheap lap dances.

Get those fries with the gravy on it.

This.

Hit the Musée des beaux-arts (Montreal Museum of Fine Arts) or the musée d'art contemporain
Montreal Science center if you like that stuff
Lafontaine Park is nice too
There is also a Chinatown downtown

Gay village night life if you're about that life

Hit me up if they are any stores or things you'll like to buy.

La Cage Aux Sports is where you want to go in Old Montreal to watch the match.  They also have a rooftop patio.  You may have to get there early, because it's rammed.

A lot of good food spots. Particularly dinner spots that allow byob with no corking fee.  Check out L'Academie for that.  A lot of great lounges and clubs on St. Laurent, my favourite is Buonanotte. I recommend bottle service, and it's not that expensive. Banquise and Schwartzz is overrated.  You can have a good poutine practically anywhere.  Oh, if you have a sweet tooth, Juliet and Chocolat on St Laurent is a good spot, as well.

Montreal is :smokin My favorite canadian city!

Hit up
Rubens on Sainte-Catherine
Schwartzs
Have a Montreal Bagel :smokin (Montreal Bagel > NY Bagel)
The Subway system is on point also.

Anyone stayed at Gite Le Clic hostel? It was between that one and Good Life Studio. It has a private room for 3 which is what I want, not into that whole 10 person dorm thing.
