don't know why but i was actually thinking about weezer right before i entered this thread with no idea it was the 20th anniversary of this album
and i like never browse through the music section of this forum
its their only album i've ever listened to but i love it and it's one of my all-time favorites from any genre. something that i felt able to relate to in my hardcore misfit days
edit: btw you posted the green album but it was the blue album that dropped around 20 years ago and was the one that i love

Anyways, I'm still a huge fan of Weezer's first couple albums and the Blue Album is a classic. It just has that pure geek rock that I love and is definitely one of the best records of the 90's. My favorite song has changed hundreds of times, so I won't even attempt to come up with one now.

Yea I went on a weezer in general kick last night. Say it ain't so became popular in 1993-1994.

hard to believe it's been 20 years.

Didn't really listen to this genre too often growing up so I was pretty shocked when I found out this album was 20 years old. Making music videos for this album years later and having local radio stations play songs from this album on a regular basis doesn't help either.
