Dark denim jeans will bleed on anything, it's just highly visible on white or light colored objects. Even after a wash they're still likely to bleed, especially if the denim is raw. I personally wouldn't wear dark or raw denim with these.

got my pair late last night.. same tumbled (?) leather they've been using as of late (steel grey 10s, etc)... not great, not terrible either.. craftsmanship is pretty on point thought, can't complain... good looking shoe

i havent bought many leather jordan retros in the past few years so my opinion differs from most of you.

give the quality of the materials used a C+

they could atleast put the **** box together though for 170

box flaps already scuffing the leather...

The leather is most definitely NOT the same on Taxi 12 as it is on Steel 10.

About the sizing issue. It really doesn't matter IMO. Both TTS and -.5 could have worked really great for me. However I am sticking to -.5 cause I just like that snug fit. It did take me a long time to figure out which size felt better though.

I just compared mine to my Cherry and white/carolina blue 12's and they seem to appear to be the same size. Can't compare them to my playoff 12s cause they're size 13 instead of size 12...

These run bigger then the Playoffs that released a couple of years ago for sure, my pair fits noticeably larger then the Playoffs. Still happy with the shoe regardless.

Lol I noticed they doing that here too. I went back to work late yesterday and saw the 2 man team dude got out with 2boxes driver pulled off he got out next stop w/2 boxes went to drop em, guy #1 hopped in driver seat n pulled off to the next stop.

I'm like damn that's efficiency for this holiday season

yeah they are pretty similar, but the edge definitely goes to the CDPs

1. They finally came in, and they look way better than they already do in person. I never had the OG's, CDP's, or the retro's, so I can't compare. Compared to the Playoffs though, the Taxi's have less padding around the ankle, even though the playoffs didn't have all that much, and the leather isn't as soft.

2. The sizing is a bit strange. I guess due to the less padding around the ankle, it was a bit difficult to get my foot into these, but once in, they fit comfortable and I have a good amount of toe space. While the Playoff 12's were easy to get into, and fit perfectly.

3. I'm completely happy with this shoe. I really love the tumbled leather, and you can never go wrong with a black / white colorway. I put them on as I was wearing black shorts, and I can easily see myself beating these to the ground.

shoe looks okay to me, runs much bigger than the CDP but looks exactly the same quality wise
