Anyone a season ticket holder? I just locked in for the Houston Rockets. Looking for any good stories about access, perks, and ways to get the most out of your tickets (including flipping them). I've already talked to a couple people on the board by DM who do quite well, including someone with OKC season tickets. Check in if you have had season tickets, have them, or want to get them! Houston peeps if you are trying to go see a non premium opponent holler at me later in the season. Depending on opponent I will let mine go for face value. I don't have Spike Lee seats but it's a good view in row 7 of the second deck.

I know they have special events for season ticket holders like meet and greets with the players
 
I had season tickets for the Clippers and I also interned with them for two seasons. Dealt with STH's every day.

Perks-You're guaranteed an oppurtunity to purchase playoff tickets before the general public.

The clippers play the Lakers at home twice so if you just flip tix to one of those games tona thirsty, disgusting laker fan you can make a nice profit. West teams play most west teams at least 3 times so just look at the the teams you guys play teoce at home and flip thosr tickets so you can still say you saw every team in the league.

Your rep is going to try to do the most to keep you happy so that you renew at the end of the season so if you ask them for a hat or a t-shirt they'll most likely get it for you.
 
49ers season ticket holder for 16 years. Never sold my seats once. Having season tickets is awesome. You dont have to stress about getting playoff tickets. You become friends with other STHs that sit near you every year. Its great.

I couldnt picture myself NOT having season tickets.

Well for the first 9 of those years, my parents were still paying for my tickets every year. But thank you for pointing out I am in the group of older NTers. :lol:

And yes Jumpman, I am getting them at the new stadium.

Thunder STH since 09' ****'em, they raised prices every year since. :rolleyes And they try to trick you into not going to the meet and greets because our owners are cheap and they give out free hot dogs, soda, and bottled water there so every person who doesn't show up saves them like $2.50.

Like everyone said, best benefit is playoff priority. Resell the games you can't attend on the ticketexchange makes you do the least amount of work, stubhub/cl/ebay you at least have to log in and convert it to a .pdf then upload it.

I don't do day of meets to sell tickets, people will make an agreement with you then keep looking and find another deal and not tell you and then you show up at the game and now you got extra tickets you have to liquidate before you can go in. I live an hour from OKC so I usually tell them Paypal me and I'll email it, or if it's a ticket I bought outside of my season ticket then still prepay me and meet me there.

Finals though, I was in Atlanta last yr during the finals and made the major comeup. $91 ticket, sold both game 1 and game 2 for $1250 EACH.

Y'alls arena is huge. Them 400 levels, I'm not about that life. I was in 124 when I went to game 3 a few weeks ago.
 
I'm in the lower level corner bruh, 102QQ. $56 a game (going to be 61 next yr) and then it goes up $10 every round. The Thunder girls dance on the rails all game, be having the extra thirst mode activated, especially Bailee.

Also, even for the playoffs, the NBA mandates there be a certain amount of $10 tickets, goes to $18 during playoffs, so when tickets drop on ticketmaster on Saturday at 11AM or whatever the release date is for the game(s) you are looking at, search for those first. You can get lucky and then have the potential to make a major come up.

Also if the Rockets have something similar, get involved in all the volunteer street team type of things. It's good networking for potentially getting a job there. The Thunder have one where they basically send me a **** ton of schedules, posters, shirts, bags, and things to give away and I manage the facebook group. Threw a watch party where we raised $1200, first chapter to do a watch party and integrate charity into it, they sent a guy out, and this old white lady straight tried to swaggerjack all the credit from it when she literally did nothing more than show up and annoy the **** out of everyone. But it's cool, it was about raising money for Autism Awareness and the local Wounded Warriors Unit on Ft Sill and it accomplished that which was most important.

I used to be a season ticket holder for the Nets. I remember we got VIP passes to get into the arena early & meet the players for the Nets & opposing teams during the individual shoot arounds. We easily met like 95% of the league including former players who worked with the teams like Earl Monroe, Walt Frazier, Dominique Wilkins, etc. Even met Hov a couple times :smokin

We also had access to restaurants in the arena & if you bought the all access card, you would get unlimited food & drinks all game.

There's also a bunch of season ticket holder events such as meet & greets too.

Its cool being a season ticket holder because there's of course the perks, but its also cool just getting familiar with everyone since you see the same people around you every game. Supporting your team at every home game is a cool experience.
 
Damn those tix are only $51????

I think as of this past season, the Kings were still in the top 10 for box office ticket prices

$51 after fees and stuff and you'll probably be sitting at the first few rows in the upper bowl at Arco Arena

I WANT Bulls tickets, but they have to 100 level. Some areas get waitresses-no standing in lines! I'd like to get a pair, but I have been told new STH have to work their way to 100 level
 
Raiders season ticket holder since 05. Section 208 from 05 to 10. Now sitting in section 224.

Jealous of you guys who live in your teams city man. I only get to watch mine once a year and it bothers me to no end.
 
I drive about 70 minutes to get to OKC. When I was in West Lawton, it was more like 1hr 35. Those drives back after games are definitely tough though since I have to be at work around 830 and for whatever reason the NBA gave us 0 home games on Saturday this yr. That's why the ticketexchange is essential, makes it easy to sell games you can't attend, and having a friend(s) on deck and especially a female, who you just give tickets on occasion when it's last minute then let them owe you. :smokin

It was fun. We all do watch parties but my friend came up with the idea and the restaurant was down and why wouldn't they be since it's bringing them business? So I did a watch party and promoted it on Facebook like everyone does, but added that there would be a silent auction for charity, bought about $400 worth of autographed stuff on eBay plus the Thunder sent me some + a friend gave me some tickets, and set it up and silent auctioned it while we watched the Pacers game. Worked out great sans for the aforementioned broad trying to steal the credit for everything and just being a general annoying b (she cussed me out in the fb post the other day for ragging on Perkins).

Work Ops for both the Dodgers and USC. Comp tix come in handy :pimp:

Also have a set of USC season tickets. Break even with "weak" opponents. Heavy profit for Notre Dame/UCLA/Oregon/Stanford. :pimp:
