Copped 2 pairs at my mom and pop store today at $220 a pop...rather get it over with now then go through the headache Saturday

maaaaaannn im still kicking myself for selling my pack a few years ago. the suede pair is one of those pairs that i wish i never let.

$220 is a bit steep. thats like paying reseller prices. big ups to you for not having to deal with the release day headache, but at least tell me thats $220 including tax.

They show love and take the tax off for me. They were actually selling them for $260 + tax, but I got the player price. I know it's $50 above retail, but to me it's worth the peace of mind, time, and sleep lol

if you got the money to spend i see no issue.

ill have some extra money come RD but im not spending over retail. most id pay is $175 but that aint happening to retail or bust.

Over here, they will be more available then the playoffs 8.

It's going to be a big General Release. Still it will feel like a QS :lol:

yeah i feel like theyll be like the xi lows. i felt like the playoffs viiis were a pretty quiet release. then again, theyre viiis and they arent as popular as ivs or xis of course. im gonna be on the road, so hopefully wherever i end up, i can cop haha.
 
I need these by any means..y'all must live in tax free states cuz jays cost round 174 n some change with tax so 175 is retail round here

was checking out a nike store earlier today and saw a line about 30 people long just to sign up for a raffle to cop these shoes and one dude in line wearing some fruity team jordans tells his friend that my wheat 13s are fake because he's never seen that cw before. hit him with the 
indifferent.gif
 and told him that i got these shoes before he even knew MJ existed and kept it moving

I'm probably the only dude in this thread that's getting LESS excited by these as the release nears. I like them a lot, I'm just kinda turned off by the hype that surround Jays.

I feel you, but at the end of the day, this is the current shoe game.. I dont stress whos diggin on what, I simply just get what I like, and ice them till the hype fuses out .. It is annoying seeing the whole city with the same sneak as myself, intially on, or a few months after the drop..
Thats why I prefer to hold em, till Im less likely to have a entourage of folks looking like me..
