Going in the end of January to see Britney Spears live

10k will get you some basics at the club. You will think you're ballin, but people in the Vegas club industry see this multiple times a day, everyday.

10K is not that much for VIP on NYE. I honestly don't even know where that would put you at XS

I avoid vegas on holidays for many reasons, including ridiculous prices for everything. There's enough debauchery as is on any given weekend
If you're gonna go NYE and not want to break the bank, just do GA passes

I went NYE 08-09 09-10 and 11-12
Each time partied on the strip for the countdown. After midnight the first two trips hit up Tao. Barely waited and paid 40-50 both times. Third time pulled a chick from the strip and just smashed

Ratchets can be found in the hip hop rooms of Marquee, Hak, Tao, and 1OAK. Also Gallery and to a lesser extent Haze.
Although 1OAK is awesome I do kinda miss Jet. That was cute ratchet central
