Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Looks like I'll be going this weekend, Mandalay Bay for $52 a night, going to catch the Bowl Game.

Probably wont hit a club, gamble and eat. Trying to hit the Golden Steer, :lol:

I had plans to make it out there for the game as well but stuff came up so I can't go anymore :smh:

Just booked a trip for the middle of January. I usually stay at the Cosmopolitan, but I switched it up and went with Aria. Hoping a sandwich will get me upgraded to a corner suite.

tell me if you find a short cut to the strip from vdara... i think the shortest way was going through cosmo to the valet, crossing the street, then up the elevator or take the stairs.. going through crystals, aria then to the hotel is another way but seemed like a mission when drunk..
breakfast/sack area is pretty good at aria... crazy good pastries and crap... right outside aria from 3 to 6 todds english pub is pretty good.. oysters on a half shell for $2 or $3 a piece.. pretty good beer selection and their bloody mary can get pretty crazy..

Going to vegas Thursday to Sunday with the gf. Looking to see a show or two. Anyone got the hook up to o or some cirque de souile

how is the gym at luxor?

if anything any good gyms by there? im trying to scoop up a week guest pass

Will do man ... Hopefully my man in Vegas also is able to assist. I looked at the Vdara menu and $17 for pancakes my ***** :x ... I don't mind a drink tab but I'm not spending $100 at breakfast ...
 
Hey bruhs, any advice or tips for a few broke college students on a last minute trip this weekend. We got about 6 going, like I said we're not ballin by any means. If I had to guess, i'd say each of us has about a budget of ~500 after hotel and such. Trying to get the most bang for our buck. Should we just hit up bars on the strip? GA? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

500 total for the whole weekend? Even then, you might even be able to pull bottle service at a lower tier club on Friday and do GA Saturday. Tryst got some legit deals.

With that said, i'll be there from 26th-28th :pimp:
 
Probably the worst Vegas weekend for me. Didn't have a terrible time, didn't lose just fighting a cold all weekend. Clubs weren't popping, Light was somewhat popping. I was staying at Mandalay Bay, they couldn't comp eyes.gif, so passed on clubbing. Good thing though was that it was so dead that the "$20 trick" moved me from a room with a King sized bed to a Penthouse suite, laugh.gif. Best room I've ever stayed in.

Is it worth it for 4 guys to do bottle service or should we just do GA and try our luck? Looking into the following clubs:

- 1Oak
- XS
- Marquee
- Light

I've read 1Oak isn't good for GA - very little non-table service room to maneuver. I've been to XS several times - curious how people feel about bottles vs. GA there in the wintertime on an offpeak weekend.

Any advice/anecdotes are appreciated.

Haven't done Light but have done both GA and bottles at every other spot.

Without considering money XS is the best spot for bottles. 1OAK will give you the best deal and Marquee is still a lot of fun with bottles.

GA wise XS> 1OAK>> Marquee

Marquee's DF is a cluster and I personally don't go there anymore without bottles

If you can afford it, it's always worth it to get bottles
