Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Pool season kicks off on Memorial Day Weekend, although depending on weather, some places have soft openings before that. MDW is a huge weekend.

heading out after work today for a last min tripp... will be out there till sunday.. prolly catch the pats/broncs game and then come back. whats good this weekend????

By the way, it should be noted that clubs will likely be getting rid of the auto gratuity. The IRS implemented a new law that says auto gratuities aren't actually gratuities, and are really just service charges. The clubs may still charge it, but it's no longer a tip. The waitress, runner, etc. will still see that money, but it'll come in their paycheck as taxable income.

Still, never tip more than than what is required, unless your service was insanely good.

heading out next friday for the weekend. not gonna be poppin bottles or anything heavy like that. probably gonna chill with GA tickets to some spots and gamble/shop during the day.

Going early June. When does pool party season start?

Openings as early as early April depending on the weather. Everywhere is open by May

Went to EBC late April last year and it was cracking. Similar to when I went back in June.

Anybody hitting Vegas in March? Me and some friends are looking at March 20-23. Advice on best spots to stay during that time? Preferabbly with a more exciting pool hotel.
Same here, I'll be down there that weekend. I may stay for a week because flying on a tuesday is way cheaper.

Anybody ever stayed at the Jockey Club? Been looking at those and they don't seem to bad.
I've stayed there twice. My friends and i like to refer to them as the "Cosmo Suites" haha. Although it's in an alley on the side of the Cosmo, the location is prime. I have stayed in the two-bedroom suite and there is a ridiculous amount of room. The master is huge with it's own bathroom, there's a second room with a queen bed, and the couch has a pullout bed. 6 people can fit in a 2 bedroom easily. Full kitchen and everything. You also get some access to the Cosmo pools and some of their amenities, although we didn't take advantage of that.

If you just want a place to shower, pre-game, and stumble into, the Jockey Club is perfect for that at a great price. I'm heading to Vegas in June, and unless my cousin can hook us up at the Cosmo, we plan on staying at the Jockey Club again.

Stayed there last time I went. Like someone mentioned earlier, the master bedroom is huge. Living room is a bit on the smaller side though.
