Fav Casino - Wynn/Encore. Great service, solid rewards, lively on weekend nights with XS/Surrender traffic but never overly packed
Fav Hotel - Palazzo. Largest standard rooms. Perfect for groups if 4-8. Can do connecting bella suites and just turn it into one large room with 4 queens and 2 fulls. Solid location with Tao, WynnCore and 1OAK all close
Fav place to eat - Holsteins. Amazing burgers with great options and solid beers on tap. Good atmosphere in Cosmo
Fav Buffet - Wynn. It's been the only 5 star one I've been to so it wins by default

Going for my Bday(7-21) weekend 19-22 of july. going with my girl and staying at either the venetian, ceasars or mgm. were still deciding. any advice between those 3. hoepfully with it being my bday + the $20 trick we can get a sick room. might up it to $100 trick to try to get real player. dont know what we gone do while out there but consider im not going with the bros ill have extra cash as i wont need BS or be doing to much clubbing so we should have a good time....

FYI... $100 won't get you anything different than $20.
If rooms are available, then they are. $100 won't help if they're fully booked.
My friends have tried upping the tip. One of them tried a $50 bill and got upgraded. they saw the same clerk as they were walking to the elevators and he straight up told my boy the extra $30 was unnecessary.
It's widely known as the "$20 tip trick" for a reason.

Let's keep the EDC chat to a minimum. Will be an expensive weekend...if u can't afford bs get ur tickets to pool parties NOW. They will sellout, and all the major spots have them on their websites.

Also, everything in Vegas is expensive. Prices aren't high just during that week. Just because you aren't looking for good events/deals during that time doesn't mean everyone else isn't.

In that order, are probably the most expensive Summer weekends in Vegas. Your best bets for deals is to do presales, so do that as soon as you possibly can.
That being said, if you are under 21, and in Vegas for EDC your options are fairly limited but you'll have fun purely on EDC alone.
I went in 2011 with no tickets, bought some off a scalper outside, trip was on a whim and had a blast. Last year, hype was bigger and didn't live up to it for me. Didn't help that a wind storm killed Saturday night. Even then, if I could go back I wouldn't do a 3-day pass. For the over 21 crowd there is too much to do that weekend to just focus on that one event for the entire weekend. That is just my two cents. Majority of EDC acts pop up at random clubs, not talking about those that already have residencies. The day clubs are popping as well.

This is mostly for information and helping each other. Is everything in Vegas expensive? I wouldn't know, never been.

But that's mostly club prices, I know EDC for hotels was absurd. If u cant afford BS just do a simple presale, they are all up at the major spots I checked last night.
