Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

i have always brought some AMs, Lunars and lebron slides... i just like to walk and see things... but i wore some Js the first day there, never put them back on and never brought a pair again...
 
Also, don't ever walk up and down the entire strip during the summer. I'm exhausted just thinking about that.

Yeah....I can see that eventually happening. It was my first time there so I felt like walking the strip was a MUST.

Like i mentioned I purposely dodged the monorails or bus and even taxis just to catch the glimpse of everything i could on foot on the strip and hopping from casino to casino lol.

Exactly. Going to make sure to bring shoes like that on my next trip there, I wore Js and that kilt my feet.

god walking the strip in the summer during the day is hell. Might as well ride the double decked bus called the DEUCE. It goes up and down the strip. 2 hour pass for $6, a 24-hour pass for $8 or 3-day pass for $20.

I like that some casinos are connected inside so you don't even have to step out in that heat.

During the summer location becomes even more important. One time we stayed at Encore and didn't leave the WynnCore properties once

Usually will stay at Venetian and stay between Encore and Mirage :lol:
 
damn still debating about going to lake havasu... i really think i would have a good time in vegas by myself for a day or 2
 
Labor Day Weekend Questions:

1) Sunday: Martix Garrix @ Wet Republic vs Diddy @ Rehab vs Special Guest @ Daylight (heard its usually a hip hop act?). 

Looking for hip hop music but also a crazy party crowd...Would it be risky to go Daylight when Garrix is @ Wet Republic or should all pool parties be going off Labor Day Weekend?

2) Hip hop options for Saturday night? Is it still 1Oak or Ling Ling room @ Hakassan only?

3) Which NTer had the plug for bottles on XS Monday nights? Probably gonna check that out.

Pool parties will be going off that weekend. Marquee has a hip-hop room (Boom Box room).

I dont see the fascination in walking the strip. but the whole trip? im going to vegas to party not to walk with crowded areas
 
for first timers i think they jus wana see it all. i did the first time i went too but i was like 15 LOL...but late night on the strip, ive pulled a few nice ones commin out the clubs tryna walk back to they rooms...
 
Whattup NT fam.  Heading to Vegas next month - from Thurs Aug 7 - Sun Aug 10, staying at TI.  A few of my boys and I will arrive Thurs night, probably by 10pm.  What are some of our options for Thurs night?  I was thinking of copping some presales to get into a club, but I was wondering were any lounge-type of areas that we can hit up on a Thurs night?  Let me know!

Don't know about lounges but Hak, Tao and Tryst are all open Thursday

TI is straight for a reasonably priced hotel. Decent rooms and great location

I'm actually there the same weekend. August 9th - 11th

Edit - there as in Vegas, not TI. I'll be across the street though :lol:

Going that same weekend for my boys bachelor party. Staying at Elara. Should be good times :smokin

I've never been to Tryst before, how is it on a Thurs night?  Type of music/crowd?  I'll be with 3 of my boys that night so would it be hard to get in also?

When I went we went to Hakkasan on Thursday night and it was a good time. Check out vipforfreelv.com There is a huge thread about them on Jack Colton forums and definitely legit. We got a limo ride and skip line for Aoki there, just tipped the limo driver $30 and this was for 8-9 guys.

I was kind of bummed when my group booked Treasure Island but overall it wasn't bad. Pretty good location, the suites are decent. We had a tower suite with 2 additional connecting rooms. Plus having a pho place right downstairs was excellent for when I woke up with a hangover. Think I ate there every morning.

Bottles on Friday at Chateau. Wet Republic on Saturday during the day and Probably bottles again at 1Oak on Saturday night. And hopefully a trip to Strip Hop if it's still open :lol:
 
First time going out to Vegas next Sat - Sat - FIRED UP even though Ill be working Mon-Thurs at a convention

Ill be staying at mandalay bay

Would like some help, thanks to whoever hits me

Sat: Good Club/Party Casino

Sun: Day Club/Night Club

Fri: Day Club

Any suggestions overall I'd like to hear it, trying to make the best out of my time there
