Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Taking my gf to vegas for her bday on 4/20...hotels east or west of the strip cool? If I was going with my boys I would wanna be directly on the strip but with her it don't matter since I can't be a *****
 
Hey guys..


Heading to Vegas for EDC in June. So far just got my ticket for EDC, will be booking flights & hotel when I can find a price I'm happy with.

Plan is to be there 17th - 24th of June, any help with which hotel to stay at. I'm coming from Australia so the guys who live there or go often will know much more than me.

I'm guessing prices go up when there's a big event on? Any deals on hotels that you know about?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

7 days in vegas jeeeez that seems like so long :lol: 3 days and I'm tired of that place.

I understand. Seven days in Vegas is basically hell for anyone from the west coast who goes there frequently. But foreigners go for long periods of time because it's often the one time they'll ever go in their lives.
 
7 days is a lot but you can do things off the strip. Go check out Hoover damn and Grand Canyon for a day etc. Hotels will be expensive for EDC, good luck finding a deal.

Cheapest decent hotel is Luxor, there should be a hotels link on the edc page. They got special deals. Still gonna be pricy though. What's your budget?
 
Last night in vegas we spent 300 bones for a meal and my wife got sick mid way through it now just chillin in the room
 
Im thinking about going to Vegas with a couple buddies for MDW. My bday is May 26, turning 23. Last time i went there was 2yrs ago and stayed at the Bellagio with my gf, a buddy and his gf. That place is too old school for me. Anyone know of a good hotel (decent price) to stay at? Any package deals such as airfare + hotel combined? Def don't want to stay at Luxor...i went to my other buddies room there and it sucks.

Im thinking about going to LV then drive (or take a bus) to Cali?(vice versa) Since i want to visit cali but not sure if the popular towns are close to LV such as L.A., San Diego etc. Let me know guys thanks
 
If you had to pick between these hotels to stay in:

Bellagio, Cosmo, Venetian, Palazzo, Aria?

Which would would you choose? Considering the most value for what you'll be spending for the room?

Any insight is much appreciated!

I'd do Cosmo, Palazzo, Venetian, Bellagio in that order.
