Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

thanks for the optimism

all good tho, its a free weekend my aunt is offering to us so cant complain about free right.

ill be there the 8-10th of May just booked tix on for $175 outta oakland round trip anyone else gon be there?

I live up here now! That's a great deal, I'm paying around $260 for March.

Anyone ever stay in the worldmarkets hotel jus south of manadaly bay? Thoughts please share em. Its a free time share going with cuzins may 9th
My parents stayed at that time share before, but they drove there so it was still easy for them to drive back and forth to the strip. It's hard to beat free, but if it was me I'd rather pay whatever cost to stay at a hotel that's convenient and lively. Good thing is that I believe they have a fridge, stove/oven and all that. It's like a mini apartment from what I gather. And I think there's two apartment complex sized pools, 1 at each side of  the property lol.
Anyone ever stay at Planet Hollywood? Thoughts?
Been there in a basic room with a weak view of the airport runway lol. Didn't spend much time in there other than sleeping. I don't like anything in the entire hotel (casino, clubs, bars). Only good thing is Earl of Sandwich in there and miracle mile shops, but I'd rather shop at fashion show or the forum or damn near anywhere else

PH itself is meh. But the rates can be found for CHEAP and it's at a good location. Aria and Cosmo is right across the street.

For you weekday warriors:

No way you get to vegas from L.A. in 4 hours unless you catch no traffic and drive 90 mph
S.D. is a good 2 1/2 hours from L.A.

I've done it in 4 hours driving 80 MPH with minimal traffic. Heck I know people who did 95-100 and got there in 3.5 hours.
Going from LV to SD you don't go thru LA and then drive south, so the 2.5 hours doesn't exist. It's a whole different route.
Google Maps is your friend.

I like PH because it's right across from cosmo/bellagio and they have that Walgreens downstairs.
Stayed at cosmo the last 2 times to it's hard to stay anywhere else

should i try the new white castle in vegas? reviews are terrible.

Have you stayed at Aria? I have been to Venetian, Encore. Still want to try Cosmos and Bellagio but for Cosmos its always so much more expensive than the Aria with my Mlife rates. If yall say its worth it then I may have to check it out.

I think the pacquiao mayweather fight is actually gonna happen. I was checking room rates and that weekend of may 2nd. Check In Fri-Sun (May 1st-3rd) is way more expensive than the week before and week after. :rolleyes

Gonna be heading out to celebrate my 30 birthday on Feb 20-22. Anyone with the inside scoop on clubs and shows please chime in and help a brotha out. Thanks

People snatched up rooms on the chance it'll happen. MGM Grand is already sold out, and hotel rates have skyrocketed since the two were seen together at that game the other night. It's all speculation. And all Vegas hotels have 72-hour cancellation policies (as in, 72 hours before your stay). If the fight doesn't happen, then a lot of people will just cancel.
