Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

That's a really big one. I think they come with as many as four bedrooms. I stayed in one with two bedrooms (King and two Queens). The couches could sleep another couple people. We didn't have a balcony but I didn't even care. It was incredible.

Hello Vegas Brethren,

First time poster, long time follower as I love Vegas myself.

Quick question to you all, I have a group of about 15 guys going to Vegas for our yearly trip, we have the club thing and day club settled for the most part, but for the first time ever most of us make good money so we were thinking of doing it nice at a good hotel this year.

Usually we'd get 2 Bella Suites at the Palazzo which is amazing, but i'm thinking of getting one of those giant suites to fit us.

We are going July 24th to July 28th (Fri-Mon) my friend has a Vdara price for around 2300 for the 3 nights which is a good price for a two bedroom suite, but my concerns are it doesn't have a Casino, and i'm worried its more of a couple and getaway type hotel as apposed to the more fun and loud hotels that we usually stay at (PH/Palazzo).

So my question is do you guys have any good recommendations for places to stay for around $3000 for 3 days, and any hook ups if that? Also has anyone stayed at Vdara with a group of guys and how did it pan out?

Thanks for the help!

Stayed at the Vdara (wrap around suite) and had no complaints. To each their own, but my group enjoyed that although there was no casino, we were well within close proximity to Aria/Cosmo sans the traffic. If I were to do it again, however, I would stay at Cosmo. That place is :nthat:

Yeah, FWIW, everyone I know who has stayed at Vdara really liked it. They didn't mind the no casino part of it.

Heard the Vdara Hospitality Suite is HUGE. Would be $3100 all in for those dates directly booked on their website. 2 bedrooms and a big living room. There are a few threads on jack colton about big suites and that one gets mentioned quite a bit.

Aria has one as well but didn't come up on the search so might have to call.

I've stayed in the panoramic suite and the two bedroom penthouse at the Vdara the last time I went to Vegas and trust me you will not be disappointed :smokin

Don't even mind that there isn't a casino inside because Aira and the Cosmo are right next door.

I think I'll be headed out there in October for Halloween this year, thinking about doing the Penthouse at Cosmo or the 2 bedroom Loft at Vdara .. depends on how many people come.

My boys all need a bed. So Bella's make the most sense for us. if we had less people I would love to do one of those suites.

That would be fine.

Dress code isn't that strict. Obviously things can depend on host and whether you have bottles or not.

But a collared shirt, nice jeans and dress shoes will always meet the requirements.

Just booked two of these rooms plus 2 connected regular rooms at Ceaser's for my best friends Bachelor party in mid July! Hopefully we have room for everyone. 15-25 guys, It was close to 5K.

That will work fine. Last summer I wore Polos(boss, theory etc), slim jeans and sneakers(bally, balenciaga etc) with no problems at any spot.

Personally, I'd never wear a blazer at a club in Vegas. Too crowded and stuffy, and if you're outside in the summer, you'll sweat to death.

THIS

Its cool to walk in with a blazer but it so stuffy and crowded, unless you're sitting at a table all night and not on the dance floor I'd check the blazer or not wear one at all... I wore a blazer twice ended up checking it both times.

Speaking of club attire, one of my first trips to Vegas I wore all black everything, button down long sleeve, pants, and shoes.

We went to Marquee and at some point in the night I got seperated from my boys, ended up wandering all over the place and at one point ended up being mistaken for a manager/worker there.

Anyways I ended up in the employees only area downstairs trying to get back to that damn hip hop room, the homies were trippin' when they saw me reappear in the hip hop room coming out where the employees where coming from. lol

And my memory of the whole thing was pretty damn hazy. According to my boys I was gone for more than a good hour.

just curious, why not?

First of all, they don't do anything. As in, literally NOTHING. They will probably say "hello" in to a microphone and thank you for coming out. That's it. Second, they sit at their table (which is a DJ booth table) separated from the crowd, while a bunch of tourists who have never seen a celebrity in their life snap photos whenever they lift even so much as an arm. Third, in the case of a male host (like Disick) the club is overrun with thirsty girls (and some dudes, yeah, not kidding) just trying to get within yelling distance. If it's a female host (like Kim Kardashian), they literally stay as long as their contract that night requires. Then they bounce. At least the guys will probably stick around.

It's pointless and awful. I've seen it at home and I've seen it in Vegas. It's the one thing I can say that's similar about clubs at home and in Vegas.
