seen the Lord at 1oak bout a month ago... 1oak is usually live and plays mainly hip hop... had a good time.

havent been to the new Drais yet, but I would like to check it out.. not sure what the music is like tho...

ps. going out there next weekend!!! ohh yeah!
 
All that being said, you can go to 1Oak and have a good time. Just don't go because of Disick, and be prepared for the scene I described. Drai's is awesome though.
 
Was thinking to get 2 suites with 8 people this summer at mgm signature
obviously only gonna get 4 room keys
how is security at the mgm signature

Security is non-existent at the Sig. No casino in there, but each tower has its own pool. It's super chill in those towers. You also have access to the MGM Grand pool complex.

Also, for 8 people, see what the two bedroom suites will cost. Four people per room is a lot, unless everyone is a couple. Even then, the pullout beds aren't all that great. At least in my experience.

I was quoted $1000 in total including resort fees for 3 nights, Saturday to Tuesday.

And $2000 for the two bedroom ones :lol:

Plus some of my homies are down to sleep on the floor

Auto gratuity on your order is 20-22% (a part of me seems to remember forking over 22% the one time I paid for BS there). Do NOT tip anything on top of the auto grat. The waitress isn't expecting it, so it's a waste of money. Tax is 8.1%. An easy way to figure out how much you'll owe: multiply your minimum by 1.281 and that's your all-in total. If it's 22% auto grat, multiply by 1.301. Of course, the bottle prices will determine your actual total, but that gives you an idea.

It's a busy weekend, so pre-arrange a tip for your host. Ask what $100 per bottle can get you. If you're getting three bottles, forking over a $300 tip to get a better table is a lot cheaper than forking over $700+ (after tax and gratuity) for another bottle and landing the same result.
 
How is Tryst on a Thursday? I will be there Thurs Jun 11- Sunday Jun14

Right now we are thinking of doing bottle service one night and since it is 4 guys we are trying to stretch our budget so looking at either Tryst or Drais Thursday night. Drais I think has a 2 bottle deal and Tryst of course well noted has the 2 Goose for $450, just wondering what you guys would choose. Backup plan right now is GA at Hakk since it is at our hotel and I can get my group in for free

Other plans are XS Friday night for Kaskade, never been to XS and have to cross it off the list, plus a big Kaskade fan.
Saturday Wet Republic for Calvin Harris, everyone likes him including a group of chicks we are meeting down there, plus at the hotel so hopefully can pull chicks easier :smokin

Going to vegas with a group of 10 homies. Already have two bedroom suite booked at elara. We were thinking about upgrading to three bedrooms. Should we just do this at check in? I believe it depends on the availability that weekend (June 5-8) so I don't think calling ahead of time would better? Also was thinking getting a cabana at ebc or wet republic. Don't know what night clubs to hit. I'm suggesting xs and 1oak, but my boys love the ratchetness of hakkasan. What do you guys suggest
 
I def anticipate it to be seriously cracking out there in a couple of weeks for the fight!

Fight weekend just seems like something I would want no part of. Seems to not attract the best of crowds, prices are going to be dumb expensive on everything, wall to wall people.

Give be a regular weekend over that mess

I was at Tryst on a Thursday night in early March, so I'm not sure how different it will be in the summer. We had a good time in there. It wasn't overly crowded and music was mostly hip hop, which is always a plus. There was some nice talent in there, so overall it was a good spot.

You might be able to score a deal or two more than usual. But remember, it is Vegas, and it's filled every weekend with people who don't care fights. The clubs will still get you.
 
For those of you going on fight weekend, clubs are slashing prices on some events. Kaskade on Saturday at XS is now $50 (instead of $100) for guys. Krewella on Friday at Hak is only $30 for guys.

Was out with some friends the other night and two of them are going down there that weekend. Sounds way too stressful. Talking about "so-and-so got a hookup" and what not, and I'm thinking "nobody has a hook up that weekend lol". Everybody is paying full fare.

These two pretty damn good looking girls were trying to get me to go with them. I just :rofl: and was like yeah right. Idc how hot u are, that weekend isn't worth any headaches.
