Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Ive stayed at M, depends what youre trying to do?
A bunch of older folks stay there, buffet offers unlimited liquor.
Far, far, far.

Vegas for NYE = do it once and thats it!
Pure chaos trying to get on the strip, and plan accordingly took us almost 7 hours to get home the nx day :smh:

Going Jan 2nd and taking my girl to the Britney Spears show
Found some good deals for a room for 1 night just cant decide which one though. Most likely will stay on the strip and I need a good suggestion for Sunday to watch football I need to see my Hawks game while im there.

I watched the Hawks vs. Cowboys game at a bar in Planet Hollywood
It wasn't the plan but we ended up spending more time than expected at the buffet in there

Hawks :rolleyes :x & a brittney spears show? worse. weekend. ever.

LOL She loves Britney Spears im just gonna have to get drunk and try and bear with it! UFC that night at MGM too I'd much rather be doing that believe me. I've narrowed it down to The Aria, Mirage or Planet Hollywood they're all pretty similar in price and I have never stayed at any of those

Trying to decide the right spot to hit up, seems like there's so many clubs and can't really tell which DJ's play hip hop

Outside of small, cramped hip-hop rooms (Marquee, Hak), there aren't any clubs that just play straight-up hip-hop in Vegas. It's not a money maker. However, there are plenty of DJs and clubs that mix hip-hop into the rotation. 1Oak is probably your best bet for a full club experience with hip-hop.

If it's the one I'm thinking off, I personally haven't stayed there but I have eaten there and from what I recall they have a very good buffet. There's a real good buffet on the strip also, but I can't recall the casino, pretty sure it's a newer one. Honestly, I'd try and stay on the strip or closer. I went with a buddy in my younger years to go meet a girl and he sorta stayed off the strip and it was a hassle going back to the strip, and once we started drinking it was all bad, we ended up just sleeping in the car cause we were to drunk. Stay closer catch the show, gamble to a limit and just enjoy yourself. Although I hate to say this right now, try the Trump Towers they're kind of at the end by the Wynn / encore and slightly off the strip. Stayed there a few times, in my younger days. Taxis are pretty cheap so use them.

Edit: Actually I think the trump has a shuttle service for drop off.

Just a heads up: Trump doesn't have a casino. So if you want to gamble, you'll have to go to the strip.

Stay away from Hak, Omnia and XS on a Friday or Saturday night and you'll be fine. Even then, XS isn't as loaded with full-on EDM DJs these days with Tryst being closed. And Surrender has basically abandoned them (for now, it seems).

And, for the love of god, don't do a club crawl.

Good looks, I might just go to Surrender since Lil Jon gon be there  Also seen The Bank but Idk.

Would yall suggest buying the tickets beforehand online or trying to do it day of or get on a guest list?

Normally I'd say Surrender, but I don't know how cold it'll be outside (if you were to be out there). I know they have heat lamps, but I can't speak to their effectiveness. I wouldn't really recommend The Bank. It's kinda wack. Try 1Oak though.

If it's just you and your girl, try to get guest listed. If not, just buy presales if you can.

going to try and check out Bacchanal on my next trip, hit Wicked Spoon on my last and it was really good. Think I will be in Vegas January 23rd weekend, then going in the spring/summer for a bachelor party, then going to try and make it to EDC. So much for staying away for a while

Anyone doing NYE? Flying up there from LA right after work that day and arrive at 5:30pm. Staying in a panoramic suite at the Delano. Mandalay is at the far south end of the strip so hopefully I'm away from most of the craziness and can get there and check in without too much hassle. Doing all my partying at the hotel so I never have to leave that night. Skyfall Lounge on the top floor to catch the fireworks and then club Light afterwards downstairs to catch J Cole. Fri night Omnia for Steve Angello. Should be a crazy new years out there. It will be my first time out there for that in like 10 years. I'm way overdue.
