Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

I remember walking one block I think from MGM to Mandalay Bay and that felt like a mile :x

I walked from NYNY back to Wynn, I didn't mind the distance, thought it would be good cardio, plus i'm cheap sometimes...

it took over an hour w/ all the sidewalk traffic smh major regret....

Who here goes to Vegas from NYC routinely? Prices for non-stop plane tickets are crazy. Cali guys have it good.

Ight no problem
We are aiming for 2-2500 budget for hotel.
We just need a room big enough for all of us plus the entertainment we bring. It's about 8-10 guys
We would like to go to drais, and a strip club after.
Would it be better to pay for single entrance or a table with bottles?
Don't have a limit there. But if you have average cost that will be great?
And pool parties? Which ones?

well, 2000-2500 can either go a very short way or a very long way, depending on which days you're there. Going on a weekend can double your hotel rate. Regardless, to comfortably house 8-10 guys, I highly suggest getting two Bella suites at Palazzo and calling the hotel to lock them in as connecting suites. Each one easily fits four people, and five isn't a stretch. It's plenty of room without breaking the bank, even on a weekend.

Beyond that, you'll be looking at $1,000+/night to hold that many people on a weekend. The two-bedroom city suite at Cosmo is pretty good, but it's $1,500/night on weekends. Only $500 on weekdays though. It has two queens and a king bed. Not the versatile couch space of a Bella suite though.

As for clubs, definitely arrange bottle service. You'll hate not having a table with a group of guys that large. Drai's is a nice club, but there are many options. I think at Drai's there's a bottle deal on Friday nights (like, two Grey Goose for $750, or something). A place like XS, to be inside, will run you $2000 and a large host tip ($500, or so).

Thanks we wanna go for 3 night. Friday - Monday.
I saw the mgm luxury suites sleeps 8. But didn't know the palazzo has connecting suites. That will be better
For everyone to crash.

How many of you use M-Life? how much did you have to spend to earn rewards? also is certain category spending better than others?

Book all my hotels through them. Honestly tables might be a little better then slots but it can take some time to get your level up. I'm only pearl BTW. Trying to get to gold BC perks really pick up then

Which strip club is the best? This weekend. 9 guys.

Budget $200 per person per night.

Is that $200 for strip clubs per night? Or, $200 for any entertainment per night (clubs, strip clubs, etc.)?

$200 buys you a half hour in the VIP room at the Rhino. Drinks are $15-$20. That at least gives you an idea. If it's money specifically for strip club, I say ball out one night.

$200 pp just for strip club. Is it still $100 private 3 songs and $20 per dance?

That's the price I remember from Rhinos in 2013. Should I bother with other places other than Rhinos?

So.. how ratchet is Vegas for MDW?

Pretty ratchet, that weekend and a Floyd fight weekend Manny and prior will go down in the history books to me

But the prices to do anything is crazy so at this point I just avoid it. My money will go further the next weekend and there will still be alot of people out in Vegas

Yeah, it's not like there ISN'T anything going on during other weekends lol. Even the weekend after. I've gone to Nightswim every year for three years (on the same weekend) on what you'd consider an "off" night. It gets bigger and bigger every year.

If money wasn't an issue, I'd go to Vegas for a holiday weekend sometime. But it's just not worth it. I'd rather get more bang for my buck on a regular weekend.

Yeah Vegas isn't the move on holiday weekends unless you're spending a lot of cash on everything (bottles, flight, limos) and that still doesn't prevent you from fighting congestion at restaurants and gaming tables etc

Going for a quick Tues - Thurs with the wife in May. Can anyone recommend a nice laid back place to just relax and enjoy drinks at night?

Not looking for that club vibe this trip just wanting to relax.
