Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

If I had tickets to a nightclub to see a famous dj would it still be a real hassle to get into the club??

Would you recommend I rather just get tickets to see them at a pool party?
 
You're going to wait in a GA line regardless, at both locations.

The GA line is a bit shorter, but can still be long. Work on your handshake to expedite the process, :wink:

If it's a major club or major pool party then it doesn't matter which one you choose

Both will require you to show up early.

On the same day in June with presales, it took an hour to get in to EBC for Redfoo (got in line at 12, doors open at 11) vs 10 minutes for Avicii at XS (got in line at 1015, doors open at 10)

With that said, daylife >> nightlife so do the pool party

you tryna hit the big clubs/pool parties? (if youre into the elctronic music)

pool parties: Daylight, Encore Beach, Marquee Day, Wet Republic
Nightclub: hakkasan, light, marquee, xs, surrender,

props to Nier for workign with me right now to try book a cabana for Daylight on Aug 10. tryna get the logistics going. but we got some weak fools in our group for a bachelor party that wants to go to Rehab instead of Daylight (u wot m8?). then we gonna hit up kaskade @ marquee night sat night.

then i got to go to vegas AGAIN the week after (aug 16-17) for 2 bdays :x :smh: gonna prolly hit up hardwell @ hak friday night, nicky romero at daylight saturday and nicky romero at light nightclub. my body is not ready...

So you think my best best is to do Princeline name my own price and go for like Venetian/Palazzo? How much would you put in for the price? $100 a night?

Im going dolo hope to have a wild night after the Wisconsin/OSU game

I'd put a bit more if it's weekends...115 maybe? Doc has used it before for those hotels.
 
115 during the summer weekend ain't enough. Start at 130, probably will need at least 150. If you start too low they'll give you a much higher price to bid and won't let you submit another bid that day that's lower

You're not gonna get crazy 50+% off deals with name your own for the 5 stars but I've gotten like 30-40% off

That hotel is Trump. If it's 5* on the North Strip and one of the amenities is smoke-free, it's The Trump. The other giveaway is the fact that the amenities don't state "casino."

Smoke-free + not a casino = Trump.

Is November a good time to go to Vegas? Weather wise? Is it even worth going in November?
 
I went mid october and the weather was great, a cool 75-80 during the day and a nice 60-65 at night
 
From personal experience, Nov-Jan in Vegas is pretty cold. I went NYE 2012 and it was freezing. Not unbearably cold, but wasn't no 105 that I was used to every other time I visited :lol:
