Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Trying to go during Labor Day weeknd, should I stay in LVH or stratosphere ??

Are those your only two options? Pay a little extra and try to grab a room at NYNY, Flamingo, Paris, Hooters (In that order, budget hotels but more central to where things are happening).

NT im going to be in vegas 23-25 need some help with finding a room for cheap. only going to be from 2-5 people (real small group)
any websites you guys use to find cheap rates...want to stay on the strip
have stayed at PH in the past

You can always go Kayak, Vegas or Hotels.com. Honestly, I'm at the point where I book directly with the hotel, sometimes I call and they give me good deals. Especially at MGM and Wynn properties. Player cards, ftw.

Going to vegas 9/6-8. Does anyone know exactly how name your price on Priceline works? For example, after you put your CC number, what if the hotel you get isn't the one you want?

Check their cancellation policy. I try not to go through a third party simply because the deal you are getting isn't that great and their cancellations policies are a bit muddled. If you book directly, you only pay a deposit as opposed to the entire cost up front (great when splitting the room with a group of people), and you can cancel a reservation the day before or even the day of with little to no penalty.

Those are like $80 a night during Labor Day weekend, but ill look at the options you gave me

Me and my girl before she leaves to school, we probably gonna meet some people that we know that gonna be over there as well

Planning a trip & thinking about staying at the Tropicana Las Vegas.

Decent spot or nah? It seems like it's not far from everything, but I'm not completely sure.

Went to Hakkasan on my last trip. Not feelin that club. It's really laid out to accomodate bottle service customers. XS is by far the better club IMO.

Older, but why not? Light, Hakk, LAX right there.
Cool. So is it really close to where everything is happening or is the map view deceiving me? lol

Because it seems to be very close to MGM & Ceasars & I'm assuming those two hotels are in the center of everything..

And if it isn't close to everything, what's a better budget hotel that you would recommend?

just got back.

stayed at the Cosmo.

you really can't lose with Marquee and Drais for the after hours.

i will definitely be making a return trip.

PS ---> Wynn's buffet :smokin

Dude, don't stay at Stratosphere.

Anyone planning to go out to any club on Labor Day Weekend NEEDS to get pre-sale tickets or get a table reservation.
Every nightclub/dayclub in town will be packed to the brim with long GA and crowded space inside of the club.

It really only makes sense to get table service if you have a grip of people rolling with you. You'll be paying for admission after waiting the long line and be paying for drinks later.
Also for dudes wanting to give a handshake to a host during LDW come correct. Very very least should be $60+ per person for your group.
Just a heads up also, if they refuse your initial offer and they cant accommodate you even after you give them a bigger offer for the handshake.

^Nier, very happy I convinced my homies to go the weekend after LDW. I'll be in touch again soon about Light on the 7th.
