Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Has anyone used Vegas.com? I guess we're gonna spend $200/person+ for Saturday night to get bottle service somewhere. Friday night trying to keep it a bit cheaper though. Wanted to use Vegas.com to get the $70 party pass where u go to Chateaux lounge, then Chateaux, then Pure, then either Hakassan, LAX, or Light on a party bus. All covers/entry is included. Is this for real/fun/worth it?
 
Sup fellas,

So I am the best man at my best friends wedding and have taken it upon myself to plan this crazy bachelor party. 10 guys arriving wed August 21st amid departing Friday 23rd. We are looking at a budget of about $3800-3900 all in for bottle service. We have two 1500 sq ft two bed suites and two extra standard rooms at Mandalay bay.

I have been using the JC forums and got in contact with several hosts, had us lined up for a b2g1 at eclipse the first night with cabana (have option for daybed as well- total would be 1400-1500 all in with tip) and 3 x b1g1 with dancer floor table at 1oak (2400-2500 all in with tip.)

Bachelor overruled and wasn't too sold on 1oak.....I looked into Tao and Hakkasan and it would require our whole budget going in one night. Other comparable deals were a tryst and surrender (splash Thursday pool party at night like eclipse).

We decided to go with surrender with 6 bottles and Dancefloor table because grand theft is djing, we are fans of trap (my boy is a dj). Anybody been recently on a Thursday night?

Are we making the right choice? Alternative would be to skip bottle service at eclipse and go GA and use the full budget on getting a main floor table 2.5k min and 3-400 handshake to get a sick table at Hakkasan for quintino....probably will only be like5 bottles tho.

IMO XS >> Hakk > Marquee

Hakk's main room is set up better than Marquee's and the dancefloor wasn't a complete ****show

XS still has the best set-up and decor

PS - haven't done Light so can't comment.

Haven't been it since the name change - used to be imperial palace.

It's a pretty crap hotel but the location can't be beat as far as budget ones go

You aint lie. Quad is certified bunz. If anyones looking for a budget hotel in the middle of strip, AT THE VERY LEAST do ballys or flamingo. You wont regret spending the extra 30 or so bucks a night. Staying at the quad is like some ish out a horror movie. Looks like death, smells like death.

As stated above, only time youll find me at quad is for hash house. Or that $5 minimum on pai gow :lol:
 
Anyone know when lights or hakkasan release their line up for the month of september? 
 
Another topic... Tipping!

I was JC forums and it seems like you have to tip everyone and their mama in Vegas. I have No problems with tipping, but I just want to know who I should tip and how much..

I.e. we got a daybed at Wet. Who do we tip when we get there? And how much? Is it different cuz it's a day club?

Then at XS. I've read about the mandatory (for XS) $500 host (handshake?) tip. (Do we still have to host tip even if we booked the table directly with the hotel?) We're supposed to tip the guy bringing us to our table? Then tip the security and runners. Then the 18% grat added to the bill at the end of the night is for the waitress.

How much should a host/handshake tip be for any other tier 1 clubs? $300-$400?

My buddies usually arrange the bottle service and I just pay them back whatever is my due. That's why I don't like arranging any of that. I don't know who/how much to tip and I don't wanna ask the host like hey, how much should I tip you :lol:

U got it...When ur texting back and forth with a host make it clear WHAT you want and WHAT ur going to tip.

Ask where ur table will be for a 200 tip and then ask where ur table will be for a 400 table etc etc.

Nightswim is a whole nother beast but they typically book the biggest names on Saturdays making it the busiest night typically

Can't go wrong with any of those days.

I do Saturday or Sunday. See who's there each night and make a choice.

Is there anything else besides Lavo and Bank?

I almost always do XS Saturday bc I'm rarely there Sunday night and I like to end the trip big. XS is still the greatest IMO. Can't be touched during the summer
