So, I decided to get the 2014 white/infrared 6's after seeing them in person yesterday and realizing that they are not as pink as I thought.

I happen to own OG black/infrared 6's that I purchased my freshman year in college (yes, I'm old) and only wore twice.  Obviously, the first thing I did when I got home was to pull out my OG's to compare.  Much to my delight, I noticed that the infrared is almost identical.  The OG's seem to be a bit darker, but, this could be attributed to the fact that they are 23 years old.

I am not a photographer, by any means, and I do not have a professional camera, however, I have taken pics with the HD setting on my iPhone and did my best with the lighting.  Here they are, for what it's worth.

PS: for that certain someone who called me a "noob" earlier in another thread... please see my OG 6's for reference.  And there's more where that came from.

My pleasure.  Glad I could add to the conversation.

To be honest, after 23 years, the air bubble in the OG's has hardened quite a bit, so it's hard for me to make a fair comparison as far as the comfort is concerned.  Plus, I don't dare take a step in the OG's at this point lol

My DMP 6's are definitely more comfortable than my CDP 6's (which are awful), but I haven't tried on the 2014 pair yet.  The 2014's have to be better than the CDP's at least lol

Ended up going back and grabbing the last black one they had. Still matches well.. the infrared looks good, black matches sock liner/tongue/tab, and lettering white like the shoe. :nthat:

dope! black matches everything lol. im sure they will be around all year though because the blacks arent coming out til the end of the year. think im gonna get one when i get the chance to hit the mall. def the nicest t shirt JB has made in a while

True dat.. Can't wait for the blacks, always been one of my top Js. Shirt is nice, buttery soft (if you can use that as description for a shirt :lol:) My gal says she wants to steal it from me..
 
why does everyone keep taking pictures? It's been well documented that different conditions can make the shoes look different. No one is proving anything can we just move on from this crap

When I first joined NT, my favorite part of a release other than having the shoes in hand was watching the threads fill up w/ pictures of people's pairs. Even though we all had the same shoes and knew what they looked like, it's still cool to see all the different pictures / poses that people can come up with. Some with SLRs, some with iPhones, etc. Just a fun thing to do IMO.

thats the same way i feel too. i love the pictures and success stories about their hunt.
