We realize there is some history here, but please be assured that ISS is no longer affiliated with Sole Collector and was in fact sold to longtime NT member Ivehadmall two years ago. ISS is currently on the NT legit list, and Ivehadmall is here to repair the image of ISS, earn your trust, provide info about their latest offerings, and give back to the community and NikeTalk's charitable efforts in a meaningful way.

Maybe i'd be more acceptant of iss if they took the link to sole collector off their main navigation of their website. :rolleyes
 
Hi Guys, sorry for the delay in a response from us, we were actually having a tough time with a login issue that just got resolved a short while ago.

First off, I'd like to thank the NT Staff for welcoming us in such a positive way. Niketalk is, and always will be one of the biggest resources in the Sneaker Community.

As Method Man, Micah, and a few others have mentioned : we are interested in making positive contributions to the Niketalk and Sneaker Community in general. We will be working with the NT staff to incorporate Raffles, Giveaways, and other prize based contests over the coming months and hopefully years to benefit Niketalk initiatives.

A quick summary, as many of the early 2000's members of NT are saying "REALLY?" right now....

In NOVEMBER of 2010, Instyleshoes was relaunched under new management.

Ivehademall was founded in January of 2001 and joined NT right around then. I've never been one to post much, but have enjoyed the benefits of seeing info about new releases pop up, as well as discussions about colorways, etc....essentially the core of what made Niketalk so great for all of this time. I've worked alongside UTASteve starting in 2003, and in 2010 the opportunity for me and my team to run Instyleshoes presented itself...it took me all of 3 seconds to say "Of Course!". That said, I remember reading "that Niketalk post" and how pissed it made me feel back then. We've run ISS since the relaunch in November of 2010 without any major issues. And you have my word it will stay that way. Ivehademall and Instlyeshoes are currently on pretty much every "legit list" out there.

Recently we were asked by NT to be a part of the Insider program, and I had the same reaction that most of you did....very mixed. BUT, knowing the integrity of NT as well as it's history of wanting to contribute in a positive way, this started to make sense. We've spent some hours on the phone as well as many emails back and forth with the NT staff working this out.

We want to make sure that there is a definitive place for any collector, or interested person, to learn about the "grey market / variant / "other" pairs that have been plaguing our community. We want to help, in anyway possible really, to contribute to helping us all stay educated in what has become "a fight against fakes". There are several other ideas that we will get to in a bit, but let's start here.

That said, myself and our team, feel very privileged to be here and we pledge to contribute both an ongoing percentage OF ALL SALES ON ISS to the Niketalk community and it's initiatives. As Method Man has mentioned, we will also be taking part of Raffles and Giveaways in the near future to benefit those initiatives.
