JORDAN 3 RETRO 88 LEGIT CHECK PLEASE HELP! COMPARISON WITH JOKER3S, 

Personally I think the retro 88 are good fakes, the jokers was purchased from nz footlocker. plz leave your opinion here. thanks in advance.

1. lace holes 

2.please check out the elephant print, 88s are wider and bigger.

and the mid sole of the 88,stitching  is not right

there is no glue print on the 88s

4.the bottom one is 88's box, there is no lace print on the left foot.

5.

there is no stamp on the 88s

6.the top is from joker, bottom from 88s

7.seller was saying 88s were bought from finishline, however you can see some chinese words on the box

88's are Fake.. some would say GM bla bla bla.. They are fake man.. good fakes but still fake.

you mean how can I tell or are you saying GM is authentic? 

High cut to E print on heel and toe

E print looks bad over all IMO

toe box looks mad square from the side view

Shoe looks a tad tall but that may be the pix

long stitches on the front of sole-*big tell

asian stickers that have tried to be removed

* im guessing but i bet fonts are not the same on the bottom of the boxs either.

no msrp sticker on box or stamp in box

poor quality of printed products like box and paper/also not same shade of ink.

Also paper quality of box is poor, looks very flimsy IMO

I personally would not make a judgement based on comparing two different releases of shoes. It is possible that JB had slightly different specs for the two releases and there is a good chance that they were not even made by the same contracted factory. There are many possible reasons for the slight differences that you are pointing out between the two.

Just looking at the 88's they look legit to me and the very slight differences you pointed out do not change my mind.  I have three pairs of 06 Military 4's that I bought at foot locker back in the day and none of them are exactly the same in every way.  Same for my 06 Fire red 5's, 06 grape 5's, 06 burgundy 5's and a few other pairs of my shoes that I have doubles of. Quality control at JB just isn't that great.

If those aren't JB approved shoes you would be hard pressed to find anyone who can tell the difference on your feet.

so the box and etc is designed different for different releases? and they just print with whatever color red is closest? I can tell you know nothing about art or printing..JB has SPECIFIC color #s. I dont care if they were printed in a factory on the MOON the colors will be THE SAME on printed merch. I bet all of your boxs etc are SPOT on with the colors right? Come on man open your eyes.. First off I wasn't responding to your post, I was typing it while you were posting. They were directed at the OP.

I have a question about the color comments you brought up though.  It is clear from the first picture of the two boxes that the jumpmen on the side are the exact same color but then the top of the box of the jokers has a much brighter red. Most images you see of joker boxes that jumpman is the same color of red as the top. Does that mean anything, should they not be the same?

Its cool man no harm done..I was not coming at you... i was just trying to help OP out..I would actually need to see the boxs with my own eyes to tell 100% but  Im guessing its the lighting or something in there making it look like the same color in the pic your speaking of. I would guess its a few shades off though. Is it OP?

We are all trying to help out the OP. That is why we are members of this site and post in this forum.  The game has gotten so difficult now with the addition of what people call the "GM' and I refer to as the Black Market shoes that spotting the difference between what is authorized and what is not is almost impossible. With the horrible quality that JB is putting out it makes it even worse.

I bought my first pair of Jordans in sophomore year of high school in 89 and have been buying ones I like ever since. So to answer your earlier question about boxes, tags and font colors changing on different releases I can honestly answer yes, i have seen that over the years. I have seen box tags change from not having the jumpman23.com on them, to having it on the same pair of shoes over the release period or to a different box completely. I have seen shoes come from major retail stores that have paint chipping, pre-creasing, miss stitched seams, completely different elephant print, glue all over them, you name it.

When I give my opinion on shoes here it is based on my experience and if I am not 100% sure that the shoe is fake I will not say it is. None of us have the exact same background when it comes to shoes so there are different criteria that we use to determine legit vs fake. The color of the box font or even the box itself  will not always lead me to believe the shoe is fake, JB has used different boxes for different markets so what we see here in north america may not be what they are getting overseas, or it may be. The elephant print from JB is all over the map so I never judge by that alone. The paper from the box and box material itself is hard to comment on if I don't have it in my hands, the OP didn't point it out as an area of concern for him and I am assuming he has some experience in checking boxes.  Minor imperfections are expected and sometimes major ones as well, shoes do get past quality control, I have received them as I am sure many others here have.

I am not saying I am 100% sure that the shoes posted above are legit but to me the shoes look good. There have been over 150 visits to this post and so far only 3 people including the OP have given their opinion that they are fake. This leads me to believe that there are other people who aren't sure either. These shoes very well could be fake but nothing stands out to me about the shoe that is gonna push me to the "they are without a doubt fake".  The only thing that I am willing to say for sure that raises a flag for me is the seller saying they bought them from finishline.  With the Chinese looking sticker on it I highly doubt that is true. But the shoes could have originally been sold in China and the sticker could be no different than the ones footlocker, champs etc put on their boxes. Who knows.
