Isn't the ball supposed to be between the 2 and the 3?

never bought a pair of GM but ive seen first hand that their are pairs that go head to head with release day pairs. but we all do what we want with our money

if they are grey market shoes and they seem to have every detail on point how would u call them? I call them CLONES but i cant call them fakes cuz they exactly the same. And i dont mind having a pair if i get exactly a same product from material to stitching. Just my opinion

Dont own any GMs but nike's thumbs up has no bearing on the quality of shoe you get. All if guarantees is that your shoes will be in the box when you buy them.

The way these nike/jb products quality has dropped the GM's are looking like the better choice. Most of these GM's are flawless compared to these nike releases with major flaws like the 11 lows with upside down jumpman and corks with missing lions on the side it seems like they will pass just about everything.

Ok for the Space Jams since they r 2009, if there is no even little yellowing on the shoes and they look flawless from top to bottom then they GM's for sure. B-grades would have a B on the tag so they definitely GMs, but as I said if u dont mind having an exact CLONE shoe (minus yellowing which is great) then why not having that pair. The only difference is the price , so i would find those GM CLONES cheaper and buy them

ninjahood started to inspire support for non authentic shoes on niketalk... kinda sickening when you think about it since he prides himself on being such a long time buyer.

anyways, I just noticed the beginning about the ball supposed to be in between the numbers. while this is true, a lot of AUTHENTIC pairs have it relatively close to in between, and ALOT of fakes/grey markets/whatever you want to call them I've seen lately have blatantly put the ball EXACTLY between the numbers... so basically you can't really judge too critically off that anymore, IMO.

The grey market thread is there to educate people. GM shoes are everywhere now, online in mom and pop shops, EVERYWHERE. If you're serious about your sneakergame staying ignorant and not learning is just plain stupid. Especially if you're trying to avoid buying these GM shoes because face it, whether you approve of them or not theyre the same shoes that we're all picking up from retail stores. Even mods and admins have come to accept this. So just educate yourselves and plan accordingly. If the LC thread is where youre getting all of your exposure to GM shoes youre looking in the wrong place. This "risk" that people seem to be afraid of is overy inflated and falsely based because most of NT members' exposure to GM shoes is based on the LC thread. Because of the nature of the LC thread 99% of the shoes that end up on there are flawed to begin with and rightly so. Why would someone who has shoes that give them no reason to question authenticity, especially if everything checks out when it comes to quality, have to post their shoes on the LC thread? Same goes for YouTube videos. People make YouTube videos for 2 reasons. For reviews and to complain. Most normal people buy a shoe and put it ridge into the box if they look good and you never hear another word about it. Essentially the question is this, if we're looking to see if these stand up to the A grade quality Jordans why would you base all of your judgements and opinions off of a forum that draws in b-dgrade, used, fake, and shoes that have issues that cause you to question authenticity to begin with? Whether GM or not.

If you have information or facts and proof validating them HELP the community and post it in the GM thread. The general consensus over there now is that theyre the same shoes. And although no one is advocating the sale of these shoes because they are illegal it is being accepted that they are the same shoes. If you have proof to state otherwise then youre doing a disservice by not sharing it with everyone else. Keep the GM talk of the LC thread and keep it where it belongs.

It's very difficult to "help" the people in the Grey market thread because the majority of them have already convinced themselves that space jams with blue soles are legit. Once you've gotten there, there's not a lot of help anyone can give you.

That's not true. There's plenty of inside information into how all these shoes are actually made so people can come to their own conclusions. That's the help I'm talking about. I personally wouldn't buy a pair with blue soles because that's not how they looked when they released. But the reason why people would consider them "legit" is because they're made with the same materials, albeit newer (hence the blue sole), but as far as they are concerned its the same shoe. But there are pairs with out the blue sole. The point being this, regardless of what you're judgement of legitness is, calling them replicas or high quality fakes is wrong because it has already been proven they're the same shoes as far as materials and construction go.
