work called in a food truck for us today too... got kids in here bout to pass out.
I'm at work watching. Been watching all week and will continue to do so till the trial is over. I haven't even watched or listened to some of the normal podcasts that I listen to during the week, just been watching this trial.

Oh, we have the income. It just worked out that me quitting my job to stay at home with the little one made sense financially, thanks to my wife earning far more $$ as a RN than I ever did. Put it this way--half of my monthly earnings from my state government job would've went to covering daycare costs. :x Luckily, the wife is in a position where she can essentially cover what I earned by working a couple of extra shifts a month.
Disney is still a money grab though.

I know all about that life. My youngest one just turned 4.Damn.
I won't say that what I do is difficult, but there are definitely challenges with staying at the crib. Being an ENGAGING parent is challenging because nobody wants to do kid **** like color, build popsicle stick houses and all that. You have to force yourself to engage your kid instead of plopping them down in front of cartoons all day. Not to mention my kid wakes up going 100 mph and only slows down for naptime and bedtime. Makes it difficult to get a lot of other essential stuff done, to be honest. It was MUCH easier when I could set her on her play mat and all she'd do was roll around a little.
All that said, I can't even complain. I'm fortunate to be in my position, and even though I'm actually looking forward to working again, I'll enjoy this until she heads off to kindergarten or my wife freaks out.Whichever comes first.
