They got it right the first time when they released him....

family pulled the race card, called up Jessie Jackson demanded a trial...... the trial so far is confirming the original judgment. No new evidence, no crazy revelations, no smoking gun.

Cant blame Treyvons parents for wanting a thorough trial to be sure.

Even though he was told not to pursue the trey, its not against the law to follow someone.....

the trial comes down to who physically touched who first.....so far everything is supporting GZ.

And i have no stance on this case, just watching from an unbiased pov....

80% of the ppl in this thread already convinced GZ was guilty....

Sadly this will be true in any case where there are no eyewitnesses to who initiated the contact, and the only person who could refute the story is dead.. :smh: Pretty much can shoot anyone you get into a fight with as long as noone sees who started it by this logic

Honestly I thought everyone would have known this by now. You can totally get away with things if the evidence is not there. People use all types of situations to make someone else not creditable. My friend got out of a DUI charge because of the way the police took his blood but he was clearly drinking. I mean man....the court system is not a 100% justifiable and that is just how it is.

So I am minding my business walking home with snacks in my pocket not bothering anybody and its okay for some one to follow me because its not against the law

Comments and dumb trolls like this make my blood pressure rise because Trayvon is guilt of being young, black and in a hoody in the wrong damn neighborhood but white males can run around on school campuses/movie theatres/malls lighting that bish up with all kinds of artillery and people want to find out what made him turn. But a black kid gets killed for walking home and he is the guilty one, TF are you talking about.
Once again this should have never happened, this lard *** should have stayed in the car and let the authorities deal with it if he felt his community was in danger but you want to defend and use"innocent until proven guilty"..

My prediction is that GZ will be convicted of 2nd degree murder, I don't think the jury will buy his story enough to think that it creates reasonable doubt... We will see tho

yea pretty much. its like a self defense case within a self defense case. trayvon could have been defending himself against gz who was pursuing him. in defending himself from gz, gz shoots the boy, and is, ironically, using the self defense pretense to justify said killing.


problem is there are only 2 witnesses to the altercation and one is dead. also, with the stand your ground law, am i correct in understanding that you can justify deadly force if you are within immediate danger of serious bodily harm? cuz i think what defines immediate danger of serious bodily harm is a very grey area...
 
If George Zimmerman gets found not guilty of 2nd degree and doesn't get found guilty of at least manslaughter, be prepared for a slew of people to bait people into altercations just to shoot and kill them... Using this case as the precedent.

Zimmerans did not use the "stand your ground" defense


I doubt you can claim stand your ground and have people believe it when its blatant you were approaching the person.

If what I believe is true trayvon could have been "standing his ground"
