There was only one eye-witness who saw the actual fight. He stated he saw the person wearing the hoody on top. The other witnesses didnt actually see the fight, all they saw was GZ after the fact and probably assumed he was on top. Therefore, their testimony wont sway jurors.

Yeah GZ has inconsistencies in his story, but 2 police officers confirm his story and one of which said he believed him. If the Prosecution had any chance, they completely blew it on Friday. I wouldnt be surprised if the Medical Examiner gets fired. What ever credibility he had was completely lost.

I don't know man. Everybody saying he's getting off just cause there aren't any witnesses shouldn't count their chickens before their hatched. Basically, ya'll are kinda saying that as long as there are no witnesses, a person can just go around at night shooting people and claim self defense. It sets a dangerous precedent by saying no witnesses = reasonable doubt, so there should be no punishment.

I think with self defense the defendant really needs to show that it was in fact self defense.

We'll see what happens.

It is indeed a bad precedent. Though, I dont think that GZ was just going around looking to shoot someone. You could also apply that to just about anything (no witnesses = reasonable doubt), that's the way the law is.

Personally, I think GZ is liable for the death of TM and should be held financially accountable.

I dont think the Defense has proved "self defense" either. I think they did proved that this was not 2nd degree murder (which is what they were hired to do). I think that using his gun shouldve been a last resort, and GZ shouldve and couldve done things differently to avoid an altercation.

Notice on page two toward the bottom of the page, Zimcoward says he was out of his vehicle looking for a street sign.
He then says the dispatcher told him not to follow.
This is where he starts twisting the story to make it seem like he was the victim.
Read the statement and listen to the call, then post your thoughts.

And the "RAIN" Zimmerman was referring too was stated as "DRIZZLE" during the testimony by the officer that attempted CPR on Trayvon Martin.

Gz has lied so much. First he lied straight to the TM family faces at his bond hearing after he was arrested by saying he didn't know TM was as young as he was, he thought he was around his age, which Is a big lie bc he told 911 the dude he was following was in his late teens. Secondly gz said on the phone that TM was running but in the hannity interview he said TM didn't run from him, he moved away quickly smh whats the difference? His stories are so confusing

One of the many reasons the justice system is so flawed. Just get up on the stand and blatantly lie. It's happened on both sides. No worries for them.

What I will never understand is why no one went outside when they heard the screams for help. Regardless of who was actually screaming, they could've saved a life that day. I hope their cowardly acts haunt them for life.
