R.I.P Trayvon

You can be on top and easily get your jeans and the back of your jacket wet when it's raining. Rain doesn't come up from the earth. What kind of ridiculous "evidence" is that? Wouldn't the wet ground during rain be even more likely to dirty your clothes? The back of Zimmerman's wet jacket was clean. If you're being beaten up on the ground, you should have at the very least, a little bit of dirt or scuffing on it. You could even make the argument that his jacket was that clean because the rain was constantly rinsing it while he was on top. Does it really matter who was on top though? They could of both been on top at one point.

There is no "alleged" race issue. Zimmerman has a long backlog of 911 calls on young black kids. I don't believe he would of pursued Trayvon if he wasn't black. He told the dispatcher Trayvon's race clear as day and made statements like, "******g punks, these ******** all get away." The dispatcher recommended that he not continue to pursue and wait for proper law enforcement. It doesn't matter if it's not illegal to neglect a police dispatchers request. All they're trying to prove is that Zimmerman created a scenario that could of been entirely avoided had he sat the hell down and decided not to racially profile and follow this kid. Zimmerman tells the dispatcher himself in detail about him pursuing Trayvon.

The whole confrontation happened because Zimmerman followed him. Had Zimmerman left him alone, Trayvon would of never known Zimmerman existed and went back to his dad's girlfriend's place with a can of Arizona and some Skittles to play video games and watch the NBA All-Star game. Trayvon had a right and a purpose to be there. Zimmerman's preconceived notions about black people made him approach and potentially harass this kid. Zimmerman is the only one who knows what really happened, but what reason would Trayvon have to flex on this guy if he wasn't provoked? Especially given the known criteria. Zimmerman went looking for trouble that wasn't there before Trayvon knew he existed.

We got a couple of Frank Taaffe's up in this thread. There is no way you can say that the evidence points decisively one way or the other. All the witnesses are all over the place with the women saying Trayvon was on the bottom and the men saying Trayvon was on top. Also, this still does not tell who started the confrontation. For example, if you punch someone first, they give you the business, you can't shoot them and claim self defense.

Dude said Trayvon was doing the "ground and pound" but Zimmerman was the one who trained MMA 3 times a week. That just sounds strange.

Still, the only facts we have are that Zimmerman chased/pursued after Trayvon(according to the Zim's 911 call) and that an altercation happened, and Zimmerman killed Trayvon.

Which would lead to more african americans dead, injured, incarcerated, on probation, and ultimately stereotyped further by the justice system and white america. Brilliant concept Mr. Luther King. Have you ever thought about running for office?

I guess you're too far up your own poop shoot to realize all I'm saying is its too late to complain

Pick apart bits and pieces of what I said

To fit your lame agenda of trying to sound intelligent

Have you ever thought about running to shut the hell up

You wanna do me a favor smarty pants

Explain to me when is it legal to chase somebody

Other than that crawl back in your hole and don't come out til you got something important to say

"Have you ever thought about running to shut the hell up"

Its best both of you guys place each other on block for this thread

word, they're so deep in the closet you can't even prove it, only throw out wild accusations and name-call. :rolleyes

What

I don't even want to comprehend where you coming from with this ridiculous statement

But I pose the same question to you

When is it legal to chase somebody

I don't even want a answer bcuz I already know you don't have one

and I completely understand with some people

You just can't fix stupid

The only person alive who knows what really happened is Zimmerman. We only know certain events that lead to it from personal phone calls, 7 Eleven cameras, police dispatch recordings, the works of crime scene technicians, etc.

- Trayvon had snacks while heading back to his father's girlfriend's home (who he was visiting) to play video games and watch the All-Star game.

- Before Trayvon even knew Zimmerman existed, he was being watched and accused of not belonging there. Zimmerman detailed it all while talking to a police dispatcher before the event.

- Zimmerman has a documented history of calling the police on black kids. He saw a black kid, made very clear statements to the dispatcher that he was black, then made comments about people that he thinks somehow relate to Trayvon, "always get away" after cursing them.

- Something happened in between, Zimmerman fatally shot Trayvon, and now we're here.

Does anyone disagree that if Zimmerman had not pursued Trayvon that this all could of been avoided? Even if we don't agree on why Zimmerman decided to follow Trayvon and if he was just in his decision to do so. From the call with the police dispatcher, (to me) it sounds like Zimmerman had the ability to leave Trayvon alone and decided not to.

This is a totally sane person

I'm not going to respond to him anymore

But if you notice I never say nothing to him

I thinks he's still mad at the 63pts mike scored on the celtics or maybe bcuz the blackhawks smashed the bruins

But whatever it is I will respect your thread and ignore him from now on

Zimmerman was in his truck driving around following Trayvon before he got out of the truck so he could "find out the address" in his own neighborhood. Zimmerman would be shredded if he takes the stand, so I don't know how good that will look to the jury if Zimmerman doesn't take the stand.

He's neighborhood watch and says he doesn't even know the streets in his own neighborhood?

I think you misread my post. The sentence you quoted was only said to frame the rest of my post.

I don't know how you would perceive any of it to be racist. I'm also black and on the side that thinks Trayvon didn't need or deserve to be followed by someone who may of racially profiled him given his past and his choice of words during the day of the event on the police dispatch call.

Even if they were both the same colour. 2 white guys, 2 black guys, 2 Asian guys. It would still be messed up that someone would follow someone else who has plans to play video games and watch a game while being accused of not belonging and ending up being shot fatally.

To fit your lame agenda of trying to sound intelligent apply common sense to the idiotic proposition of rioting

Fixed. You'll grow up one day. Until then, take to the streets and start that riot. Civil Rights advocates would be thrilled.

Great game.

Seriously though, why don't you just do your own leg work and interpret Florida's stalking/harassment statutes for yourself?

I thinks he's still mad at the 63pts mike scored on the celtics

My huggies were rustled for sure.

Who won that series?

Shes eating white ice cream with her dad saying we beat stupidity. Yall already knows that referring to black folks... Omg I'm pissed I swear these white folks think they can do what they want

As an a young African American male, I really don't feel safe or protected by the law. Just keeping it 100. I was always taught by my dad that I shouldn't put myself in positions to be treated unfairly. Straight up I can't be out here fooling around making mistakes like the average teenager(not referring to trayvon)

idc when it was posted... These white folks think they can do whatever the **** they want... And when ****** like me do **** like this we get locked up/fined/ ****** over by white folks

You make a lot of sense. You and MikeJeffJo should get together and grab a cup of coffee sometimes.

We seriously don't need to be lumping all white people together. I have a lot of white friends. I have friends of all races and they're just friends. I'm not one of those, "That's my Asian friend Walter" type of people. (Plus, I know a lot of Asians. It would be impossible to do that. )

Let the people who want to live in ignorance and divide themselves do that.

The irony of that Instagram posted by the attorney's daughter is not lost on me though.

Agreed. Can't stereotype like that. It's essentially the same thing we don't like done to us.
