is ANYONE able to connect to the 2k server? on PS and havent been able to play for about 7 hours now.

This happens to me too, cpu players always make that extra pass to the open guy because I guess they don't feel its a good shot, he's tired, his tendency to shoot isn't high or that bastard just wants the assist. What I would suggest is to try to draw his defender while you drive to the hole and kick it out to him to create more space for him to shoot. That's what I always do and you'll rack those assist no problem.

 I made a new one drafted by the Suns, man I was killin w/ Sac Town. Surprisingly they were a better 3 pt shooting team for me compared to the Suns..

Ey Sac Town are nice too. Rudy Gay, Isaiah Thomas, Derrick Williams, Jimmer Fredette, Ben McLemore, Marcus Thornton, McCallum Jr. and Tony Douglas all shooting treys for me. Quincy Acy is a waste he always stands at the perimeter so I dish it out thinking it's someone who can shoot and it's a automatic bad pass it's funny actually.

Just got this game and I haven't played a 2K game in like four years. Can anybody give me tips on defense? Can't box out worth a ****, nobody plays help defense on my team, and I can never stay in front of my man when the CPU isos.

Nope on Xbox one and can't connect since yesterday morning, saying checking for Internet, I'm so mad at this game, how 2k can get away with this garbage is beyond me

Yeah, I can't connect either. I hate this stupid game. I've been playing 2k ever year and this is making me want to throw this game away.

man servers had me trippin saying "checking for internet connection".. even called up my service provider because internet on my pc was acting funny too. They fixed everything and servers were still acting up .. Still was able to get a couple games in though.

That's exactly how I play. I'll drive to the hole and the draw dbl, sometimes triple teams... then pass the ball to Hayward or Rush or even Favors for wide open midrange shots and they'll either stand there with the ball or drive into the paint where the dbl team I was facing is there waiting for them. Whereas, if say I'm doubled I pass the ball to Hayward for a wide open shot but he instead drives and then he [Hayward] passes the ball to Favors or Rush, then Favors or Rush will take the shot [half the times it's a contested shot]

Or another situation is Favors will have deep post position just on the edge of the paint, instead of making the quick move for the score he'll just stand there. It really infuriates me to see Trey Burke make the same passes I've been making with the recipient of Burke's pass either shooting immediately or making a quick move for the shot. But when I make the pass they'll either just stand there or drive into the well guarded paint area

Nah, I have a PS3 but I wish that was part of isomotion like how lead passes work. What i'll end up doing is demanding a trade. I'm a starter now but I was hoping they would give me the SG spot instead

I'm on the jazz too. I do notice that they pass up wide open threes a lot. But I always figured its because they were hesitant or their stat makeup warranted it. Mid range jumpers they take most of the time for me. Most of my passes are coming off pick and roll so the roller will shoot. If I have to pass it based on the help defense it's hit or miss if he takes the wide open 3. If the clock is running down it is taken for sure.

Have you tried the shot the ball command with kinect? It's a pain to yell something out but it may help. You have to say it right before you pass though.
 
Why are people spending real money on VC? If you download the 2k app, you get up to 2k coins a day and not to mention they've been dropping locker codes like crazy

When I played this on the 360, I was on a team with harden and kobe. They had no problems shooting wide open threes. Lol.
 
server down for days, can't even play mygm offline.

I honestly don't see myself bothering with 2k anymore.  There have to be some major changes in 15 game-wise and in customer care

the way they've handled this next gen release is borderline insulting.  I know most people can forgive a few hiccups on the new platforms

but this has been unacceptable

All of this.



Got $40 for my copy. Things like not being able to save rosters to the hard drive, no CAP and the constant crashes are a joke.

Hopefully 2k15 is a way better experience.
 
Hey guys I just would like to say that i loooove nba 2k14 for the PS3 it got me a year supply of shoes + a Ps4 i must be really good a this game after all.
