adidas D.Rose 4?

no the shoes have no factor really cushioning wise. You acl and meniscus tear from twisting and buckling not from inadequate cushioned shoes. however what the dude said about the ankle braces has a point.

So you would think if an athletic guy wear Vans and play with uptempo. There is no possibility that his knees will take a pounding after awhile?

Look. I'm not saying the cushion  is 100% responsible but wrong type of cushioning or lack thereof can lead to chances of injury. It just common sense.

Lack of cushioning has nothing to do with the tearing of the acl or the meniscus. Lack of cushioning in shoes, however can lead to overuse injuries such as stress fractures and tendinitis.

There are many reasons that might explain his penchant for tearing things such as looser than normal ligaments, inadequate musculature surrounding his knees, muscular imbalance, and yes, maybe his tendency to wear ankle braces, but lack of cushioning is not one of them.

That said, I do agree that the 4s aren't safe shoes. The lightweight, minimalist model has to go. I don't think the 4s are very stable and balanced, and it's too stiff.

Damn his new black shoes are looking nice but I've lost all confidence in his line given his injuries and also how the 4s have felt on my feet..

Keep waiting, I gotta think these would hit outlets just like the 3's and 3.5's.

Those went loooow.  I think I remember passing on pairs at something like $40 a pop since I already copped a few.  Doesn't help that Rose himself isn't wearing them and they made a ton of colorways.

I'm waiting to cop under $60...
THIS, was able to cop brenda 3s for like 50, wish i woulda got a 12.5 tho

hopefully the 4s arent like the 3s

im usually never the one to partake in the sizing bs, but these and the lebron 9s were legit size foolery for me

my 3s felt perfect, then when i hooped in them, the heat made the material stretch and now these boys feel like a size 13.5

I would have sized down a bit on my 3's as well for strictly performance benefits.  They run a tad bit long for me.  But wearing extra thick socks pretty much solves the issue.

I was not feeling the 4's at all, but after looking at some reviews and seeing what Damian Lillard is doing in them...I'm on the fence now.  The Rose line starting from the Supernatural Creator has been great to play in.

Got that right.  When you can grab his sigs. at the outlet for 1/3 retail, something didn't go quite right.

Mostly because the guy is just injured a lot.  I hope for his sake and for basketball that he can stay healthy but guys that play like him tend to get hurt.  Westbrook is out, D Wade has constantly been injured...I hope we're not seeing another Brandon Roy when it comes to D Rose.

I actually considered coppin these when it first came out, glad I didn't. Rose 1.5's are still my favourite.

Supernatural Creators might be my fave, although they weren't strictly his sig. shoe.

I have 1.5 Lows and they are good, but not great.  Still have some 2.5's to break out sometime down the road.

3's are okay but fit at the forefoot is tricky and I have to wear extra thick socks.

The d rose 5's are going to have boost cushioning. Wooohoooo.
